Strawberry Sundae

Oh, wow. This one tastes amazing-I definitely get the strawberry sundae part with a hint of green tea. The green tea isn’t over powering the blend, so it’s all good.

Cold Brew Sipdown (150)!

Thank you VariaTEA for the sample, but I have to confess that I’m not enjoying this one all that much. Any banana in this blend it totally lost to my palate and I think the green tea base is overwhelming the strawberry notes I do get as well. But on the other hand, maybe I’m just having a somewhat underwhelming experience with it because my teeth are very sore today and the cold temperature is actually rather painful…

Eh; maybe it’s a bit of both?

This is oddly satisfying, it tastes like a milkshake without the banana taking over. A light milkshake, maybe? I like it, maybe I’ll try a resteep over ice. It’s strawberry green tea yumminess. Maybe I just need to try more greens, because at the end of the day, as tasty as this is, I’m not a huge fan of the banana, as light as it is. But that’s a personal preference and doesn’t reflect on the quality of the tea .

Another one from variaTEA quelle surprise and this is one that i think would make a better cold brew. Something about the green in this one has a little bitterness to it but the creamy strawberry in this is really delicious.

I cold brewed this for at least 15 hours overnight and the end result tastes just like a strawberry milkshake…if a bit of grass fell into the blender. The forefront of the sip is all creamy strawberry sweetness but then a vegetal flavor creeps up from beneath the dessert-y element of the drink. I’m thinking this may do better steeped for a shorter period or perhaps iced. Luckily I have more leaf to experiment with since this definitely has potential.
