This is the first loose leaf plain green tea I ever bought.
Before this all I bought was the cheap bagged green teas from the local grocery store.
The difference on first sip was remarkable for me, but maybe that’s also because it’s new to me.
But now that I’ve tasted such good quality green tea, I don’t think I could ever go back! Sometimes I wonder what I was even drinking before.
As you might assume, being a simple green tea, it’s nothing super fancy, but it’s got a full-bodied green tea matcha taste. It’s a nice staple to keep in your cup board for that everyday cup :)

I LOVE LOVE this tea! It’s been my go-to tea for the last 2 weeks. I love that the tea leaves unfurl into big leaves as they steep, you really don’t need to add much tea to get a full and rich brew. Because the leaves are big, I don’t put them in a strainer, I just add them straight into the cup and as they steep, they sink to the bottom. It’s delicious, it’s sweet and creamy, it’s so easy to brew, and it’s healthy – perfect everyday tea for me. I knocked a few points off just because “flavour” is listed as one of the ingredients, although the T2 assistant said it is vegan and doesn’t add any calories to the tea. It’s my first milky oolong, so I am yet to compare to other revered milky oolongs out there. But for an introduction into oolong tea, it’s beautiful! Also, you can resteep this 2-3 times and it will still taste awesome/leave no bitterness.

I love this tea! It’s a different taste, and I’ve found that people that I share it with either really like it, or really don’t like it, so I’d recommend that you try it/smell it/take a sample first. To me it’s like a slightly sweet green chai. Half the ingredients are typical chai elements and the other half add a subtle and zesty sweetness, which together makes a warm, sweet & spicy brew that’s perfectly reminiscent of Autumn :)

Flavors: Cardamom, Orange, Rose, Spices, Tangy, Toast, Winter Honey
