This is another wedding party favor. I poured boiling water over the teabag and left it in.

It was pretty good hot, but I liked it better once it cooled off, and I added ice.

This is a real fruit punch of an herbal. The hibiscus stands out nicely and balances well with the raspberry. Sweet and sour. If you don’t like hibiscus, this probably isn’t your cup of tisane. Oh, I wonder how well it would do, steeped in a lemonade. Mmm.

It tastes kind of like hanging out at a nude beach when there’s no pandemic going on, very relaxing.

Flavors: Candy, Fruit Punch, Hibiscus, Raspberry, Sour

Preparation
Boiling 8 min or more 1 tsp 12 OZ / 354 ML
White Antlers

Black’s Beach in La Jolla.

Todd

White Antlers: Oh, that’s a nice one, went there years ago.

White Antlers

Me too, Todd. Back when I was a skinny little thing.

Todd

Lots of people of all sizes go though. :)

derk

I used to go to Grey Whale Cove. It’s difficult there to catch a warm enough day.

White Antlers

Oh, I was not dissing anyone’s size! It was more me mentally remembering and picturing my long ago, waifish young self, Todd.

White Antlers

The thing I remember most vividly about Black’s Beach in the 70s were the fully clothed dudes in business suits with cameras, trying not to tumble down the rocks while they snapped and rubber necked. :(

Todd

Oh, that makes sense, Whit Antlers.
Business suits… LOL that is quite a picture, thanks.

I have enjoyed various teas most of my life, but have recently started exploring higher-end teas. Still, plain houjicha (loose-leaf or bagged) makes me feel like I’m in Japan.
