Thanks to AJRimmer for a sample of this tea (can’t remember what day # it was)
As I was driving the other day (with this tea in hand) I was thinking that it is a very British tea and probably one that Rimmer would have enjoyed. (Red Dwarf is one of my favourite shows)

This is quite similar to Tazo’s lemon cake tea. I don’t get quite as many cakey notes but it is still a delicious lemony and zesty tea. I had this with soy milk and enjoyed it a lot. I brewed 2 tea bags ~30 minutes in very hot water (cooled down a bit by the soy milk)

Flavors: Cake, Citrus, Lemon, Lemon Zest

Preparation
195 °F / 90 °C
tea-sipper

I almost had this tea a couple days ago, also from AJRimmer. :D

I’m so glad someone else here loves my favorite show! And I totally agree that this tea is a slightly less good version of the Tazo one, but I bought the 50 bag version of this, so I must admit I’m becoming a little sick of it – only 10 bags to go! (though I did cheat and swap a few) :P

Bio

I am a biochem major hoping for a career in research genetics and evolutionary biology. I love science fiction and spend too much of my time reading comic books. I’m a passionate keeper of spiders, cacti, and exotic plants. I eat a vegan, plant-based diet for moral and environmental reasons (I mention this only because it is relevant to which flavoured teas I drink).

I drink mostly flavoured and low caffeine teas/tisanes, but I will try anything twice. As far as pure teas go, I gravitate towards whites, yellows, and jade oolongs. I’m always open for trades and sample sales/exchanges. Message me any time :)

My cupboard is mostly up to date. For a more comprehensive list, see my stash spreadsheet here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-HjWKR3um-xEnj6HC9vMvKXOAyj_bpW5u_2ixEC20-k/edit?usp=sharing
