In the evening when I return from work my first thing to do is to heat the water and brew a cup or two of the tea. Sit in my favorite chair and sip the tea letting the cares of the day fall away as I slowly unwind reducing my thoughts to only those of peace and pleasure

I have tried other Matcha teas – none even approached the subtle elegance of this tea. I save this tea for those moments when I can relax and savor not only the taste, but the aroma. This is one that I will always have on my shelf. As a fan of tea traditions, I brew this tea in traditional Japanese way, with special tea bowl and whisk. If you ever tried green tea Matcha, you have probably found it a little bit bitter, that is why I started to look for a something similar. I found white Mulberry Mactha from the same store I ordered a loose leaf white mulberry tea. And you know, the taste was fantastic!
And the company sent me even free Ebook with recipes, that was cool:) I haven’t tried it yet, but definitely will. And btw in US these guys are only one who sells MULBERRY matcha

I’m a big (Japanese) green tea fan and this is pretty close to it. Its fresh and brews wonderfully. I have enjoyed it every day since I got it. And, believe it or not, it suppresses my appetite and that is a welcome side effect. Well, it’s not a side effect according to the Dr. Oz show, but I’m kinda sceptic about all these “miracles” that are described on TV or ads. But this tea worked well! I used to drink it at night and found out it’s best thing ever to prevent me from evening crawling for sweet. The flavor is sweet and floral, you don’t need any sweetener; is vegetal and earthy, with sweet grassy notes, and a slightly roasted flavor. But you have to steep it longer as the leaves are big and waxy

Golden Monkey is one of my favorite Chinese black teas, and this one does not disappoint. Besides creating a beautiful golden-brown liquor in the cup, it has a really smooth taste with notes of dark honey or caramelized fruit. Truly exceptional!

drank Jiaogulan by Immortalitea

When I discovered this tea (well.. technically it’s not the tea, it’s tisane), I had no idea what was it going to taste like. I was attracted by its really big whole leaves. So I brewed it first and discovered the it to be plain and simple. The tea is astringent, though not puckeringly, and modestly “sweet”. I tried mix it with another tea—green, chamomile, licorice, etc, and that extends the value, as does reusing the leaves once. The taste of jiaogulan itself is little grassy, earthy and wet. But it’sooo refrreshing. For me, when I initially drink jiag, it has an immediate calming effect. It’s slightly stronger than chamomile. I also notice that it has a mood stabilizing effect on me. If I take it regularly (3 cups/day, 1 tsp jiag per cup 10 mins brewed), for about 3 days, I notice that it makes me sleep ealier in the day, and I wake up feeling more refreshed.

This has become one of my favorite morning tea. The dry leaves are long thin wires and have a wonderful chocolote aroma. This tea stands up to long steeping times very well; I use about 3 grams of leaf to 10 oz of water for three minutes on the first steeping, four minutes for the second. This makes a very bold, malty flavor, but with very little astringency and almost no bitterness. Highly reccomended to anyone who likes black tea, but dislikes overly bitter tea.

This is an absolutely wonderful tea. It has a strong floral aroma and flavor which lasts for several 2 minute brews. There is no grassy or bitter taste at all and the virtual absence of caffeine makes it a great evening drink which will not disturb your sleep. It is also a high grade tea at a good price.

Wet leaf aroma: Potatoes. Marsh. Heavy cream. Wet grass. Asparagus.
Color: Light gold with tinge of green.
Throat: Toasted rice, wet grass, wet leaves, woodsy. Slightly sweet.
Brew aroma: Candied yams. Wet, freshly cut grass. Creamy chocolate.
Taste: Buttery and vegetal – immediate taste. Quintessential notes of a good Long Jing. Pleasant briskness. Some notes of asparagus. Some mineral notes. Nicely complex. Medium body. Long, lingering length.

This is my brief story how I met this tea :D
How did I discover it: One of my friends recommended this tea to me when I was trying to lose some weight.
Where did I get it: I found it on Amazon by the Immortalitea.
What does it look like: big beautiful leaves that start to unfurl when you brew it.
Color: golden
Flavor: light fresh, earthy
Did I need some sweeteners? No no no! It has a pleasant, smooth taste without sweetener.
Health benefits: I LOVE to eat deserts, so I researched this tea and found out that White mulberry can keep me from sweet cravings. So I’ve tried this tea and I also reached my desired weight and have maintained it (sure I kept to some diets and did some exercise). I feel that this tea was beneficial in this effort.
