Dark cocoa note. Slight bean taste. Sweetness in lingering aftertaste. Straw note.
Thanks to Kittenna for sharing her sample with me!
Preparation

Definitely chocolate notes in dry leaf aroma and brewed tea. Smooth hay notes. Hints of cocoa flaour in brewed tea. I would like to try this one infused for a bit of a longer time.
Flavors: Chocolate, Cocoa
Preparation

Very nice blend of flavours. Savory notes are present. Spice (from the ginger), mint and peppery notes. I can’t taste any of the goji berries or rose. Overall, the flavour is quite bland – there is no one flavour that sticks out which the others compliment. I can see how this would be a nice mixed with a plain tea, as is recommended on the Verdant Tea website. I love the mix of traditional herbs and learning the history behind each of their uses (also found on the Verdant Tea website).
Preparation
Mineral sweetness. Smooth velvety mouth-feel. Faint roasted notes. Hint of chocolate tone. Brisk crispness on finish but not astringency or bitterness. I can definitely see what they mean about the scotch note- definitely present in the aftertaste. There’s a coolness on the palate similar to after having consumed alcohol.
