This tea is a green Pu-erh. It steeps up to a golden color, much darker than the usual green. It has a deep rich taste much more like an Oolong than a Pu-erh. The taste is more of a floral earthy taste, not vegetal at all. The taste is slightly sweet. I was able to get 3 infusions from this tea, all very nice and tasty.

I really like this tea steeped at 5 minutes. The tea is very aromatic and is slightly sweet. While the taste is intense and biscuity it also has a soft fruitiness to it. Still no bitterness even when steeped longer. One of the best bagged teas I have had.

I steeped this tea for 1 minute longer today and the difference was very surprising. The tea is full bodied and tastes very much like an assam tea. Still no bitterness but a very clean tasting Ceylon tea. Nilgama makes a nice breakfast tea.

I like this Dilmah tea. It steeps up to a dark down color with orange tints to it. This tea has a much cleaner taste than the other dilmah teas I have tried. It has no bitterness or aftertaste at all. It has a little astringency. It has a very nice flavor and a kick much like a mild assam tea. My wife likes this one as a breakfast tea as the assams that I have are much too strong for her.

This tea steeps up dark brown and the taste is basic ceylon to me. Its a nice tea with good flavor, not much bitterness, and just a little astringency. I just wouldn’t put it in the same category as the other two Dilmah teas I have tried. I do like it but it just doesn’t wow me at all. I would call this tea a basic breakfast ceylon to me. I’m not sure why Dilmah compares their teas to wine. To me wine and tea are as different as night and day. Of course I’m no expert and could be wrong (I usually am).

Dilmah’s teas continue to impress me. This tea steeps to a dark golden brown and is very biscuity. Its very dry and has an intense flavor almost like an assam tea. This tea has the pyramid bags and really expands when steeped. It has no bitterness but does have a little astringency. A very nice tea.

This is my first venture into single estate Ceylon tea and I must say its been very enjoyable. This tea steeps up to a yellowish brown color and it really does remind you of a Darjeeling tea. The tea is woodsy and slightly fruity at the same time. It has no bitterness and is only slightly astringent. This is broken leaf tea in nylon pyramid tea bags and the leaf is quite large and beautiful. The tea is crisp and light and I really loved it.

This is such a nice cup of tea. It is a blend of many teas and I wish I knew which ones they blend. This tea is very mild (yunnan like) and I can taste the yunnan in it. No bitterness or astringency and very complex. Its one of my favorite twinings teas.

I needed a strong tea this morning and this one fits the bill. Its strong, brisk, and chewy and a great wake up tea.

This is my last bit of tea from The Simple Leaf and its really too bad as they had fantastic tea. The tea steeps up golden in color with a floral honey smell. The taste is nutty, vegetal, buttery and slightly spicy. This is a very nice tea and I wish I could buy more, but alas they are no more.
