I got to try this blend out of the kindness of a traveling tea box! I love 52Teas flavored genmaicha blends, and this one sounded so unique. This is a tasty brew, with warm, bready rice and sweet and toasty green tea. The mullberries add a distinct sweet-earthiness, a bit like golden raisins that went well with the green tea. Not my favorite genmiacha of all time, but who wouldn’t want to try a blend with mullberries?

I don’t tend to take any sugar or milk in my tea and have a habit of over-steeping. I love trying out themed tea blends, but I would also like to get more adventurous in trying more high quality or unflavored teas.
