HOT: This tastes exactly as it is described- black tea with apple and coconut notes. I did not think I would like it very much, but was pleasantly surprised. I am not a huge fan of cinammon and was pleased to find an autumn tea that was not overly spiced. If you add a splash of cream, it mellows out the tartness of the apple and brings the coconut flavour out more. I personally prefer it plain though.

ICED: the apple/pineapple tartness comes out much more strongly iced. It actually tasted nice with a splash of cream, though i still prefer it hot.

HOT: This tea tastes mostly like straight up coconut milk, with some grassy/floral tones to it. I found it to be a little boring, although I do enjoy coconut milk. I added a splash of cream, and it brought some vanilla notes out pretty strongly, and I tried some with lemon and was surprised to discover I preferred it this way. Overall I felt that the tea was good, especially if you like vanilla, just boring and lacking the depth of flavour that I prefer from oolong tea.

ICED: I normally prefer hot tea, but this tea has some extra floral and grass notes that come out a little more iced. I like it better without cream than with. With cream it tasted exactly like a glass of coconut milk.

Overall this tea was boring to me. I am sure however there are some coconut lovers out there that would be much more satisfied than I was.

HOT: This tea tastes similar to hot chocolate, maybe more of a cookie taste than traditional deep chocolate. There is not as much nuttiness from the almond as I would have expected. I like it much better with cream, on it’s own there is a hint of bitterness that is unexpected from a dessert tea. The cream however draws out some of the almond, and there is an almost waffle-like flavour. I preferred it this way, hot. I think next time i will shave a little extra cocoa in for richness.

ICED: Similar to the hot chocolate blend from davidstea, I steeped this with a little extra chocolate and a splash of milk. the flavour is much milder and more creamy this way, and reminds me of a vanilla frappuccino.

After further steepings and more experience with citrus teas I have come back to this to find it a bit boring, although still refreshing.

I was pleasantly surprised by this tea. I am not usually fond of citrus, but there is something very pleasant about the mellow tartness of the orange and the hibiscus mingled with the gentle floral notes from the jasmine. It also has a bright and fun red colour when steeped.

I prefer this hot, compared to iced. It is much more bitter/citric tasting when cold.

I purchased this when I stumbled across the shop while I was on vacation. The shop itself has a huge variety and I really recommend a tea lover check it out.
I was recommended this tea by the shop owner, who suggested it was their favourite oolong. When I saw there was licorice powder involved in the process I was not expecting to enjoy it, but you really cannot taste licorice at all.
The tea itself is sweet, metallic, and earthy. It is a little mild for an oolong, and does not have much of the grassy/floral notes that a lot of oolongs tend to have. There is definitely a dessert-like quality to this tea.
I was most surprised by the fact that I liked the Blue Spring tea much more iced than I did hot. Cold, the flavour feels like it has more complexity and dimensions of sweetness. It seems to linger a bit longer in the mouth as well.
It is also especially good with a splash of cream.

I love matcha, and I was happy to use a ton of built up points on this, since it is such an expensive tea. However, I was disappointed by how clumpy it turns out when steeping, and also that the flavour profile is not quite what i was expecting. If I had tasted it first I would have saved the points for something else.

I have tried it both hot and iced (as a latte), and I have used both traditional whisking and the davidstea matcha maker. I prefer it as a sweetened iced latte, personally, as without sweetener it is overwhelmingly earthy/grassy. Overall it is just lackluster for the price. If it were cheaper I would be much quicker to recommend it.
Also, the flavour is not as creamy as I was hoping for, and has a very unusual (but subtle) sour note to it.

My boyfriend brought this home to me after seeing it in store, and said he thought it would be right up my alley. He was correct- the sweet rooibos tones down the soapiness of the lavender and leaves me with a sweet dessert-y cocoa-caramel tea with lavender-vanilla notes throughout.
It has a little bit of thickness to it, and i would describe it as medium bodied. I noticed a surprisingly small amount of the nuttiness that rooibos tend to carry and there was only a small hint of fig.
I do feel that there was a little too much cardamom flavour for my taste and would have rated a 100 if it had been less heavy, the hit of spicy-citrus just didnt quite mesh correctly with the other notes to me.

It is very good with a splash of cream (i am especially enjoying it with almond milk, something about the extra punch of nuttiness really adds to the flavour).

When you ice it, there is still a very similar flavour profile but with a noticeable shift in the notes. The lavender comes out with a lot more force and blends with the cocoa, leaving the vanilla and caramel in the background. It is still good iced in this way, though overly creamy to my taste even with just a small splash of milk.
