11 Tasting Notes
Looking at the ingredient list on this, it seems like there should be a lot of different flavors going on here. What actually happens, at least when I taste this tea, is that all those flavors lump together and produce a strong black tea flavor with a very bitter orange peel component. I really don’t notice any of the spices or anything like that.
Flavors: Bitter, Orange
Preparation
Very light on mint flavor. Primarily just a pleasant smooth green taste. No bitterness that I can detect; I have read that others have found this tea bitter, but I have also read that can happen if steeped much longer than one minute.
Just a hot, gentle, refreshing taste.
Flavors: Plants, Spearmint
Preparation
Delicate and refreshing, with an earthy plant flavor as well as some lighter floral flavor as well. Probably not satisfying for those who prefer strong flavors in their teas. No sweetness that I noticed.
