How does this superwow accessory work? Like a teapot. Except the clear, BPA-free plastic lets you watch as your tea steeps. And when you’re ready to sip, just place the steeper right on your cup. You’ll feel a rush as the weight magically opens a valve, and your infused tea flows out through a specially-designed filtration system. Then, when you lift the steeper, the valve closes automatically. It just might be the neatest, coolest way to steep.

I was a little hesitant to buy the steeper at first, since the price seemed, well, kind of steep. Honestly though it was one of the best investments I have made! I use it all the time, it is so easy to clean, the stream out the bottom really works and I just love that you can see the tea leaves saturate and expand in the pot. Wonderful invention, I’d recommend it to anyone.

Love, LOVE, LOVE! So perfect :3 Sometimes I would leave tea in there and it would get gross and hard to clean, but just pour baking soda and water in and leave it overnight. Perfect!

The only reason why I got one was to get that “tea club” card for 15% off all tea I buy for the rest of the summer. I figured…even if I only use it sometimes, I’m going to end up saving way more than I’m spending, so I’ll do more than break even.

And oh my goodness. How did I ever survive without one at home before I had one?!?!?! Easy to use, easy to clean, easy to re-steep, easy to watch your tea while steeping, easy to love. Also easily stains; mine’s looking rather “well-worn” now but from reading another review I’m going home and cleaning it with baking soda!! So exciting it will look new again.

Highly recommended.

I LOVE my Steeper! I purchased it from DAVIDsTEA when they were having a promotion. With my Steeper purchase I received a card that allows me to get 15% off 100g purchases of tea until September!

I have not used it much for hot tea since I usually use my timolino or mesh ball. It is great for making iced tea, no need to dirty extra glasses, simply brew the tea and pour it over ice! No leaks or plasticy taste/smell! It’s easy to clean (once I realized that the filter can be removed!) and I haven’t noticed too much staining (yet).

All in all, a great product and I will definitely buy another if this one breaks!
