An absolutely delightful caramel-flavored black tea with a distinct caramel flavor. Thank you Lori for sharing this tea with me. I enjoyed this tea while relaxing with a good book tonight.

A delicious cup—definite caramel-ly aroma and flavor with the real caramel bits in blend. Creamy without added milk; lightly sweet. A luscious dessert tea or afternoon pick-me-up. 2nd infusion is cloudy with a slight reduction in flavor but still tasty.

An absolutely delightful caramel-flavored black tea. This tea has just the right amount of sweetness (it doesn’t taste sugary), and has a distinct caramel flavor, which doesn’t obscure the flavor of the tea itself. I have purchased this tea several times, and continue to keep it on my shopping list.

This tea…right here…? No this is mine. Yeah it does smell amazingggg. No you can’t have a cup, I’m sorry. No, not even from the third steep.

I’m starting to understand my tea preferences a little more every day. Also starting to understand why people like dessert teas so much. I only ordered a sample pack of this so I’m going to have to hide it. I will definitely be ordering a larger amount once I’m settled.

Right out of the bag the most amaazzing smell. Sweet cream and chewy caramel. The little pieces of caramel are cute. And they do not dissolve quickly. I still had a tiny piece left after the 3 steep. Very yummy with honey and natural cane sugar. The smell is a tiny bit muted after steeping but it still snells delightful.

Certain teas effect my acid reflux and this might be one of them. As there’s almost a coffee-like undertone. Anyone know the caffeine level?

I’ve had a bad history with caramel-flavored teas in that I haven’t yet found one I liked. Sadly, this tea continues the trend.

When I opened the sample, I didn’t like the smell at all. It was a very strong, very artificial smell. At that alone my hopes for this tea dropped, because if I can’t abide the smell I’m probably not going to like the taste much either. And, well, I didn’t. The result was a mix of a strange sour flavor and that fake caramel taste. No amount of milk and sugar could ever make this okay. It went down the drain, and the rest of the sample went in the trash.

From now on I’m sticking to candy when I want caramel flavor. Normally I like Upton’s teas, but I’m more than a little disappointed in this one.

Super old sample, I think from Tastybrew!

Was actually a decent caramel black tea. I will have to make it side by side with teaG’s caramel tea just for fun :)
