A candy like blend of green rooibos, freeze-dried peaches, safflowers and sunflowers all flavoured with sweet peach and lychee flavours.This tea is a great iced tea treat, that when sweetened, can taste like a fuzzy peach candy.
Blenders Notes: This blend is a fun sweet treat. It uses both peach and lychee flavours to impart a sweet candy like flavour. The green rooibos is milder in flavour than traditional red rooibos, and steeps a light amber colour. This tea is great for kids or kids at heart who want to have a drink that is sweet and fun.

After getting drenched when it started to pour during my evening walk, I wanted a hot and cozy cuppa. I try to avoid caffeine late in the day so this was a perfect time to try this brand-new-to-me tea!
The base is green rooibos, which I greatly prefer to red. There are little pieces of dried peach and a powerful peach aroma to the dry blend.
Is Fuzzy Peach a type of candy? I got the impression from other reviews that it is, but if so, I have never tried it.
The tea is just bursting with peach flavor. Since the aroma was strong, I decided to do the steep it twice and combine method for a giant pot of tea and served it with cookies. It reminds me of Simpson and Vail’s green rooibos blends quite a bit, and I love those. We both enjoyed it very much.

Another dessert tea tonight! Having it after a relaxing yin yoga class ..and taking a trip down memory lane with this tea! It tastes almost SPOT ON like my old favorite David’s Tea blend Green and Fruity. Anyone remember that tea? A peaches and cream tasting green rooibos. Man, I drank that tea for an entire year in university when I took a year long caffeine hiatus lol. I’m so pleased to have found the same flavors in a local blend!! So this is very peachy and creamy, not much lychee but I like it nonetheless. Lighter for an evening tea, this is another I could easily drink during the day. Happy to have found it and may order a but more since I have such fond memories of these flavors :)

I do vaguely remember green and fruity – but my recollection does not have it tasting like peaches and cream! I don’t believe I liked it much, but would love to revisit it if it ever returned.

This is another one that I definitely missed when I was looking at the site and I think that’s a shame because I liked this a lot. Of the four free samples I received and tasted through this weekend, it’s the one that I would absolutely want to purchase.
Like most of the fruity teas from The Tea Girl so far, it is much of a candy-style of sweet peach flavour. However, I think that’s perfectly to be expected with a name like Fuzzy Peach and I think the taste itself is great. It’s bright and juicy with enough of a tang to it that I do think of the Fuzzy Peach candies but not so much that it’s sour or unpleasantly sharp. In fact, I would be surprised if there’s not a cream or vanilla flavour in this tea because as lovely and vibrant as that sweet tangy peach note is it’s also balanced and offset by the silky and creamy undertone and finishing flavour that creates a ‘Peaches and Cream’ vibe. I love a blend that can be both things and the balance here is delicious! It’s also not heavy and I didn’t feel like the flavours built up to a cloying sweetness by the time I had finished the mug.
I know there’s lychee flavour in the tea but I don’t really taste it too distinctly. I imagine it’s contributing a lot to the juicy and fresh feeling of the peach. Peach and lychee get paired a fair amount because they bring out that juiciness in each other (and sometimes for the floral undertones too).
I don’t think I actually own a good peach rooibos tea, so I feel like this would actually fit a whole in my stash. Definitely one I will keep in mind heavily for future orders!
