Strawberry Blush Rosé

This tea is one of my favorites. It’s light, refreshing, and fruity. It is very aromatic, and when brewed too long it becomes overwhelming. Personally, I like it iced with lemon. It takes minute maid.

This is the kind of tea I was talking about in my previous note. This is fine, it’s ok – there was only a little left so I’m going to finish it off tonight. I probably bought this because I was lacking fruity oolong in my cupboard. I need to stop buying ok teas, and only get the stuff I really love. I have an amazing fruit oolong now so all these other ones can go.

This is mostly fruit, not much oolong. It’s a little champagne, it’s a little fruity (I would say berry rather than strawberry), and not much floral. This would be better if it had more oolong.

This is one of my favorite teas from teavana. This tea tastes great blended with other teas such as peach tranquility and is great with a little sugar added. It does have a floral note so if you are not a fan of that this isn’t the tea for you. There aren’t a ton of tea leaves but it’s still a great tea in the afternoon.

Waitwaitwait, there’s oolong in here?! All I can see are huge fruit chunks. It smells great, steeps a pretty pink, but this to me is purely a fruit infusion. If I want tea, I want it to contain mostly TEA. It’s ok for a cold, afternoon drink. But to me, it’s basically like watered down fruit juice. Another one I got as a gift and wouldn’t buy for myself.

Overpoweringly fruity tea with nearly imperceptible oolong flavor. By itself it’s lacking, but blending with a smooth black tea gives it much needed body and depth.

Aw, here is a Teavana tea I actually like! The ingredients list is astounding, probably to hide the fact there is absolutely no oolong in this blend (which I expected from Teavana anyway). So I should have sipped it at night for a decaf option… (also, this makes for a nice Valentine’s Day tea … along with Bluebird’s Love Potion I was also sipping). First, the giant stalks of rhubarb in the photo for the tea made this one appealing to me! Other highlights to the massive ingredients list: rose, grapes, peach, pineapple, spices, vanilla! I steeped this one for quite a while but there is only minimal hibiscus damage. Awesome. At least the blend isn’t drowning in hibiscus (even though it is supposed to be a blend with rhubarb so I can see why they might add more than usual). Maybe waiting 15 minutes after boiling to steep a hibiscus blend tames it a little bit. It’s fun to guess what the “flavoring” added to a tea is, but I can’t guess with this cup. The scent from the cup is a lovely floral strawberry. The flavor hits with the tangy hibiscus first, but then I notice strawberry, tangerine, and a grape like flavor. It’s almost like a floral fruity champagne, which I guess actually makes Teavana’s description accurate for once!

Blergh. Nope. Not my cup of tea. Even with three heaping tsp, there was mostly fruit pieces and very little tea to be found. Anyone have any experience/suggestions to make this taste nice? I’m thinking maybe I’d have to add a lot of sugar, but I’m not really wanting to have such a sweet cup of tea. Might as well have actual juice at that point in my mind. Maybe I can blend it with another oolong?

I am totally ready to send this box on, but have been requested to keep it until after Thanksgiving, so alas, it stays with me for another two weeks.

This is an ok tea but I found it to be too light for me. Even when I brewed it extra strong the flavor were still too light. If you prefer in your face flavor, this tea is not for you.

This was pretty good to me. I love the smell and the taste was fruity, but I can see where this could be overwhelming to some people. I steeped the tea again and liked it better the second time.

The dry mix is mostly dried fruit. I can see strawberries, maybe apples and pineapple too. If I’m not mistaken, there are also rose petals, juniper berries, and some kind of dried wrinkly fruit. Perhaps cherry? I can see dark green bits of the curled oolong too. It’s not as numerous as the other ingredients, but it’s visible. This honestly looks like trail mix to me. Or maybe I’m just hungry.

It smells strongly of strawberries and ripe, juicy fruit. It’s mouthwatering actually and very sweet, like candy. After steeping, the leaves have unfurled completely. Some are really rather large. The liquid is a pale, golden pink.

It doesn’t taste as sweet as I expected it to, but it does have a nice flavor. It reminds me of an herbal tea but with a nice floral flavor/scent, possibly from the oolong or maybe the rose petals.
