From Stash Tea

Stash Peppermint is produced exclusively from top quality Oregon grown peppermint, which is considered the world’s finest. Oregon’s deep rich soil, moist cool winters and long dry sunny summers provide mint growers with the natural tools to produce peppermint. The mint is harvested in July and August and when properly cured (or dried) it is sold as leaf or to produce peppermint oil. Stash Tea purchases its mint leaf directly from Oregon farmers. It is sent from Oregon fields to the Stash Tea plant where it is packaged to protect the freshness and menthol content. Nothing else is ever added to our Peppermint tea. The result is a soothing, refreshing, aromatic drink that is superb hot or iced, any time of day.

Perfectly decent peppermint tea, not too bitter or bland. I don’t like it quite as much as Yogi Purely Peppermint, but I would still definitely drink it again, and it’s great for calming you down and for soothing upset stomachs.

My tummy is a little unhappy today (I should NOT have eaten lunch a the mall. I know better), so I’ve had a couple of cups of this today. It might not be a cure, but it can’t hurt. Peppermint tea should always be in the tea chest, and this one is as good as any bagged tea and better than some.

Is it WRONG that I like bagged tea? I mean, a lot of bagged teas are not as high a quality as loose leaf, but it’s so darned convenient.

It’s not wrong at all! Only ignorant snobs have that kind of attitude. ;)

OMGsrsly

Some teas are best bagged. Chamomile is one that I don’t like loose… and it’s just easier to buy it pre-bagged. :)

Rosehips

Not wrong at all! I’ve got some beloved bagged teas, and there are ones I just prefer to plop into a cup and then not think about at all.

Maddy Barone

Oh, good. Then I don’t feel so guilty. :)

This tea is one I always have on hand. It is one of my favorite peppermint teas and I drink it when I am sick. Tea for me is about enjoyment and if the bag version is much more enjoyable, weather it is because of ease of use or taste, then I say drink it and don’t worry:)

gmathis

There is no wrong tea if it’s one that you enjoy. Life is busy and messy and it’s lovely to have an arsenal of quick-easies that require no fuss.

Obey your thirst! or something like that.

Water: 8oz

Leaves: Tea Bag

Steep: 3m, 5m

Aroma: Peppermint

Color: Golden brown

Taste: This is my first time reviewing a Stash Tea! The foil packet is a vibrant green which also matches the tag attached to the tea bag. Upon removing the tea from the packet the aroma was amazing a nice strong scent of pure peppermint! As for brewing I decided to do something different I warmed my tea cup. The brewing method was also changed slightly brought my water to a rolling boil & let it cool for 1 minute. The peppermint aroma remained present after the steeping process making drinking a pleasant experience. Taking a sip the tea is light in flavor but leaves a nice cooling sensation in the mouth that lingers as you continue to drink. The clarity is also great clear to wear I can see the bottom of my cup. Overall I feel this makes for a nice cup of tea!

Special thanks to my friend for this sample

This is my favorite peppermint tea. It has the strongest peppermint flavor of all the peppermint teas I’ve tried.

I had a cup of this while I was out at dinner last night. I really like peppermint, so I knew I wouldn’t dislike it, but I will say that this seems like a good quality peppermint. It had no bitterness to it, just a refreshing minty flavor, unlike some lower quality peppermint I’ve had in the past.

This is my “go-to” peppermint tea. Fresh, great for a sour stomach.

One of my favorites from Stash. Being a sufferer from acid reflux, due to it being a side effect of my blood pressure pills, this tea soothes and lessens the impact from that problem. It also tends to make me sleepy, so I drink a cup about a half an hour before I lay down for a night’s sleep.

I think this one is excellent when its new but if you keep the pack hanging out for too long, the mint loses its punch

I’ve come down with head cold for the past couple days and I’ve been living off this stuff. It gently clears the sinuses and soothes the throat. It’s a great tea to be having on this chilly evening.
