From Rosali Tea

According to the Qing Dynasty chronicle Ye Shi Da Guan, the Kangxi Emperor visited Lake Tai. At that time, because of its rich aroma, local people called it, “Scary Fragrance”. The Kangxi Emperor decided to give it a more elegant name “Green Snail Spring”. It is so called because it is a green tea that is rolled into a tight spiral, resembling snail meat, and is cropped early sprint.

I overstepped it just a tad, so it’s a little bitter, but I still like it. It has a savory, veggie flavor, and isn’t too grassy like some green teas can be for me. Really it’s a pretty lovely tea, and I wish Rosali tea sold it individually on their website.
