From Kirkland Signature

Kirkland Signature Green Tea is made with Sencha Green Tea from Japan’s lush tea plantations, known for producing some of the best teas in the world. In keeping with Japanese tradition, Kirkland Signature Green Tea is gently steamed, rolled and then dried. This minimal processing stops the oxidation and preserves the freshness, aroma and color of the tea leaf.

Matcha, a green tea powder made from specially harvested leaves is added to enhance flavor and taste.

Picked up at Costco on whim, wasn’t expecting much; turned out to be some very good bag tea. Would highly recommend especially for the price ~$10 for 100 bags

I wasn’t expecting anything from this tea, but it completely surprised me. The best flavor I have ever gotten out of a bagged tea.

I was fairly surprised by this tea. I’m not really a matcha fan, but everyone I make this for (myself included) enjoys it. The instructions inform you to steep it for 30 seconds, which surprisingly is more than enough for my taste. I usually steep for about 20 seconds (in a small cup), add a splash of milk, and a smidge of honey for a light, smooth, and flavorful tea with a very slight matcha flavor.
I was hesitant to purchase this tea because it’s sold in such a large box (100-125 separately wrapped packets? Somewhere around there), but I know I’ll end up drinking every last one.

This remains the very best bagged green tea I have had the pleasure to experience. Amazingly available, and is never a disappointment when in need of a quick cup.

My parents, who are Costco devotees, turned me on to this one. It’s a staple for me, both at work and at home. Clean and deep taste, invigorating, and speedy to steep — just 30 seconds, then you shake in the tiny amount of matcha powder.
