From Harney & Sons

We loved creating Disney’s Snow White Princess Blend, starting with a Mutan White tea base then adding apple pieces (not sourced from a wicked queen), apple flavor, cornflowers, and marigolds that reminded us of Snow White in her cottage with her forest animal friends. It may just be the tastiest tea of the land!

Ingredients: White tea, apple pieces, natural apple flavor, cornflowers, marigold petals.

Finally beginning to go through my Harney order that arrived during advent season!

I was really intrigued by all of the Disney blends that Harney recently came out with. Though it was temping to order ALL of them, I managed to stick with just the two that I thought I would actually reasonably enjoy. I wish they came in LLT instead of teabags, but c’est la vie.

This is pretty simple and straight forward, but I thought it was nice! Softer light to medium bodied white tea with some floral notes and some hay notes as well with a gentle addition of sweet red apple flavour. Because of the simplicity of the blend, it comes off as kind of sophisticated and something about that feels really perfect for Disney’s original Princess. Obviously the apple is super on theme (as is the white tea), but I just like that it’s not really a gimmicky blend. Snow White, as a movie, isn’t very flashy but it’s managed to hold strong and stay a classic over time and that was kind of the vibe I got drinking this tea.

Definitely not anything stellar, but still a clearly defined classic taste.

This is one of the teas that CameronB sent! Thank you, CameronB!

I used one sachet for a 12 ounce mug. The white tea base is as expected – hay notes but also this is rather creamy, which may be the white tea and may be due to the apple flavoring. The apple flavor is mild, not tart apple, but a true apple taste like a good out-of-hand apple, as opposed to a cooking apple.

I like it! I think since the apple flavor faded so quickly in my Little Women Orchard House blend, I would only buy this if I was confident I would finish it in less than a year. It is very pleasant, so that wouldn’t be hard to do.

Shared with Ashman who said he thought it was just a tad boozy, and I can see how apple flavor could go that way. Waiting to see what Superanna thinks, as I shared one sachet her way, too!

Trying this one out today! This is the second of two of the new Disney teas from Harney that I ordered.

I’m quite surprised by how mild the flavoring is here, especially because Moana was the total opposite, with very strong tropical fruit flavors. This is mostly the white tea base, with a touch of fairly realistic apple. Maybe it’s because it’s not strong, but the apple doesn’t taste like green apple candies for once. The bai mudan is mellow and haylike, a touch musty with oat-y notes as well. There’s a hint of honey at the end of the sip.

I do like it, but I feel like I shouldn’t use two sachets for a 16-ounce pot of this one. It ends up being quite strong, they seem to have been generous with the leaf in these. Next time I’ll try one sachet for 10-12 ounces and see how that goes!

Harney usually recommends one sachet per twelve ounces, and theirs usually resteep fairly well if you are combining the two steps.
