This is such a great tea. Yesterday I had it for the third time, and it is consistently good every time. The fruit flavor is strong, and the fruits they chose perfectly complement the black and green tea. This doesn’t need sugar, either. Such a great tea!! I may have to buy more of this when I finish my sample (and thanks silentrequiem for that!).

Backlogging. This is a tea I had with some sugar. This taste like papaya and some passionfruit and alittle of the other fruits. And the tea bases. I think this is really good.

I got a little try me pouch of this tea in the Spring Mystery Box.

I don’t know what it was about this tea. We just really didn’t get along. I tried a few times. The first time, the overpowering fruity smell gave me a headache and I ended up throwing the cup away. The second time the aroma was less jarring – a bit of mango and passionfruit coming through, but the taste itself was watery and bland. Overall, I was disappointed, because I usually love mango/tropical flavored things.

I love fruit-flavored teas, and this one is no exception. I have tried several mango-flavored teas and one pineapple-flavored tea, but this one has a more complex fruit flavor than those. I steeped this at just before boiling (I was afraid of burning the green tea in this and am anxiously awaiting for my kettle to arrive). Anyway, I feel kinda bad reviewing a discontinued tea, but some may still be available for those interested.

This tea is interesting in a very good way. The smell is almost candylike. It reminds me of something from my childhood I can’t quite place. All mango though, possibly one of the Tropical Starburst candies? When you drink it you get far less of the fruit and more of the tea flavor. Not a bad thing for me, as the scent could’ve made it taste like juice too easily. But all together, I’m happy I got this. It would probably make an AMAZING iced tea.

Mastress Alita’s sipdown challenge Thursday, April 22nd: International Mother Earth Day  Tea  #1

Happy Earth day everyone!   Personally a favorite holiday of mine, as I am a fan of nature.  I scoured my tea list for teas that would fit today’s theme.  Surprisingly not a ton of teas with “earth” in the name other than “Good Earth Tea” which I almost steeped up.  (And yes, I know I’m being too literal.)  However, I remembered I had this one that I haven’t written a note for yet and it’s from StarFevre so thank you very much!I know not many are fans of the half green/ half black blends.  They are weird.  These two types of tea do NOT compliment each other.  Each is better separate.I brewed it like a green as I noticed mainly big sencha leaves.  So it tastes like a green but with a healthy dose of generic fruit flavor – maybe peach and apricot (supposed to be mango, passionfruit, pineapple, papaya and ALSO actual kiwi pieces which is wonderful!). So no mention of peach and apricot in the description but that is what I taste. Symptom of age, possibly.  I wish those unique fruits were here though! Again, surprised that this old of a tea has so much fruit flavor remaining! Second steep, also very fruity, also no black tea flavor (but also no bitterness!) It’s not bad while drinking and wishing I was in a real rain forest…
Steep #1  // 1  teaspoon for full mug // 35 minutes after boiling  // 1 minute steep
Steep #2  // 25 minutes after boiling //  1 1/2 minute steep

Sweet. Peachy sweetness. That’s all I’m getting really. Maybe a hint of papaya. Not much else. More like juice than anything. I need to try it iced and cold brewed!

Kittenna

Yep, juice is a good comparison, haha.

Indigobloom

Yep. It smells sooooo good though. I bet it’d go great as Kombucha

Sipdown! 965.

This is a very perfumey tea – smells rather like rose despite that not being an ingredient. Thankfully, the flavour is grounded enough that it doesn’t feel like I’m drinking perfume, just a very floral/fruity tea. I can’t identify specific fruit flavours, but it’s on the tropical side, though a more… perfumed fruit tropical than ‘A Rabbit’s Garden’. Overall, not bad, but again with the (half) green base – not overly fond. Also, a bit too perfumey.

I received this as a sample with my order several months ago and finally finished it up. It was enjoyable, very tropical and fruity. However, it is the sort of tea one must be in the mood for because it has so many flavors. It is probably great as iced tea but I had it hot each time. Im not sure id actually go forward with ordering more, but sInce it doesn’t appear to be offered currently, I can delay my decision!

Steeped for 3 minutes.
The dried tea smelled delicious. Very fruity. The tea itself was a bit lacking in flavor but a bit of sugar helped bring that out. It’s nice but not one of my first choices for tea. I think this would make amazing iced tea.
