This took looked quite promising so I took some home now that spearmint is forever gone (RIP). It is heavily spearminty, however I can’t taste any sage and I get vegetal notes from the green tea. I’ll keep drinking it, but I’m always going to be bitter about them discontinuing spearmint.

Mmmmmm…

Steeped this one up hot on one of the morning we had extra time to lounge around the hotel and it was a perfectly soothing cup of aromatherapy and sweet spearmint. I found the hotel beds brutal to sip on – and eventually just had to tell me mom that I would commute home every night and back to the hotels in the morning, for the sake of getting a good night’s sleep and not waking up feeling stiff and in pain. However, this mug probably undid at least an hour’s worth of brutally still and uncomfortable hotel sleeping.

Friendly reminder that I do not numerically rate DAVIDsTEA blends as I’m currently employed there and it would be an obvious conflict of interest. Any blends you see with numerical ratings were rated prior to my employment there. These reviews are a reflection of my personal thoughts and feelings regarding the teas, and not the company’s.

Oh gosh, I hope you get some good rest and sleep! Back pain is no picnic.
