Another sad Butiki sipdown! I do have some other jasmine pearls laying around but none quite as good as these. These are my ultimate comfort tea. I’ve got a big art show opening tonight, and my favorite outdoor art fair of the year in the morning! Exciting/Stressful! Gotta get my zen on with these pearls today :)

Ooooohhhh good luck!!!! And aw man! What’s the booth?

Stephanie

At the booth I’ll be selling basically all of my art that I can. I’ve let my etsy store get pretty empty but lots of this stuff plus others, including canvas wraps of my new tea mandala! http://evilducky77.etsy.com/ https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10201079153234015&set=a.1352411883383.2051400.1023981242&type=1&theater

2nd in the taste test/Jasmine Pearl Marathon:)
The dry pearls smell of a nice lovely light jasmine flower.
The color of this tea is very light and almost tan-ish colored.
The smell is very distinctively jasmine, but not overpowering.
The taste is not as jasmine-y as the smell.
This tea is very elegant and graceful.
Certainly a beverage that should be served in a high class spa.
I can feel this weekends stress floating away like jasmine petals in the wind:)

This one I actually had gotten with one of my first orders with Butiki when I was still pretty new to tea and was buying all sorts of different teas to try because I didn’t really know what I liked…..And there it has sat since because I’d tried another jasmine tea since then and I wasn’t the biggest fan. So I kinda had to give myself a shove in trying this tonight or else it might’ve just sat there forever.
Very floral scent in the bag. Not overpowering, but definitely not light. Looking at the pearls they’re streaked with silver that’s fuzzy. Which, to me at least, is pretty neat. Alot of the pearl teas I’ve had have that soft/fuzzy looking texture. Though they’ve all been dragon pearls and streaked with gold instead. XD
The jasmine smell carries over into the brew itself and turns it into a heavily perfumed tea, which I was surprised was a darkish gold color. I was expecting something more bright yellow-ish.
It’s sweet, with a very slight touch of greeness. But the jasmine is definitely front and center and it’s hard to really taste anything else. But then, this is supposed to be a jasmine tea, so I wasn’t really expecting anything else.
Unfortunately for me it’s like drinking perfume water. Not my thing, but a good thing to try. I’d definitely recommend this one if someone is looking for a strong jasmine tea to drink. Like, woah strong. Lol!

Whoa.

I opened my parcel, and BAM sweet wonderful floral scent. “That’s probably the Jasmine Pearls” I thought to myself, already excited to try it.

This is my first ever Jasmine Pearls tea, and I’m very excited. When nearly everyone on Steepster adds swoon after the words ‘Jasmine Pearls’ you know you have to try it. :) I had no idea where to begin, but as soon as I notice that Butiki had it, I knew I could safely try it and be assured that if I didn’t like Stacy’s, then it’s not the tea for me.

Anyway, it’s incredible. This tea assaults your senses in the most perfect way, and somehow manages to be incredibly delicate about it. As you drink it, the scent fills you, and you taste exactly what you smell on your tongue at the same time. I’ve never had a tea that just FILLS your nose as much as this one does while drinking.

It’s absolutely wonderful. I feel like I’m sitting in a field of flowers that stretches out as far as the eye can see in every direction. I’m drinking the flowers, and as I taste them, the perfumy sweet smell is all around me.

Back to reality, the little pearls unfurled into really beautiful long leaves. If I had more of this, I’d be tempted to just sit and watch it for the full four minutes to watch the transformation.

My only regret is that I simply ordered this as a sample and didn’t buy more right away. This is on the shopping list, and soon hopefully in my cupboard.

This will be my 3rd sample from Butiki teas. Thank you again! I had never had a very “floral” type tea before, but this is a great first impression. It’s very fun to watch as these pearls steep and I guess (for me at least) it adds to the whole tea experience. The flavor is very much jasmine. When I opened the bag it’s very in your face, hence my waiting to try this tea out of trepidation. But the flavor is smooth and the final taste is pure jasmine blossoms. I feel like I’m eating them! Which in this case, is not at all a bad thing. It’s very nice to sip slowly.

I don’t yet know how I feel about jasmine, but mine smells strongly of the two mint teas that came with it. I’ve seperated it from the others in the hopes that when I try it, it will just smell like itself for an authentic experience.

Tamm

When my package came, I actually was worried that the jasmine smell had passed to the other tea samples. I did the same thing as you, by separated it from the other teas. After about two days the other samples didn’t smell like the jasmine anymore. I hope that yours works out!

This tea is lovely. When you open that bag oh heaven the smell! It’s def Jasmine. When steeped tho, it’s a delightful brew. It is fairly potent but it’s on the edge. It’s on the edge of getting too purfumed but it isn’t It’s right there in a good balance of tea and wonderful floral. It’s relaxing to just sit next to your steaming cup. It smells so good. But it’s lighter on the tongue. Hubs thinks it’s too perfumy for his taste but if you like a floral tea this is a good one. I really enjoy it.

Now this is goood! WOW. The scent and flavor is amazing. I can’t imagine it being any stronger, even with resteeping. This is very delicious. You can’t have a jasmine tea better than this, I’m sure. I really haven’t sipped a Butiki tea that isn’t very very good. They know what they are doing! You can’t go wrong with Butiki!
