It has been a while since I opened the pouch with this tea.

Not a real fan of popcorn at all, it doesn’t suit me much. And moreso, sweet one. I prefer butter only.

But, as I want to finish it soon (it has got last Christmas pouch theme), I decided to brew it.

Honestly, the flavours are still great. It is popcorny, puffed rice, but as well toffee and kind of buttery. Smooth, sweet, great for afternoon. Enjoyable, but nothing I would order myself :)

Sipdown! (3 | 76)

Despite butterscotch being one of my favorite flavors, I found this one just a little disappointing?

I think it’s because I don’t really taste the rice much, if at all. The rooibos base and the strong flavoring are just overpowering it, I think. So it ends up being sort of a one-note butterscotch rooibos tisane. And don’t get me wrong, it’s still perfectly tasty, but I guess I was hoping for a bit more?

I had ordered a 50g bag of this, but that order still hasn’t moved from the UK and it’s been over six weeks now. So mostly likely it’ll need to be replaced and I’m sure they don’t have any of this one left by now. Oh well.

I’m sure they will! I had the same issue with a previous order around the holiday season, and they ended up replacing it and adding freebie samples! :)

Bird & Blend Advent Day 11 (11-December 2020)

This one smells very buttery in the dry sachet. The steeped scent is also buttery with a hint of old school puffed rice cereal. There is a warming sweetness and at the very end of the sip I get a hint of toffee amongst the puffed rice. I am enjoying this one and so is A. We would consider ordering this one.
