The plain black tea was a little too bitter for me. I added in vanilla creamer and it was much smoother and enjoyable. A little honey would probably have tasted good too.

Decent with milk and sugar – I enjoyed it just about as much as Lipton. Nothing special, nothing I’d go out of my way to buy, but I’ll drink the other teabag I have.

To paraphrase someone else’s review about this: Nothing special, but functional. I can’t imagine choosing this over another name-brand of English Breakfast, but it’s good in a pinch in a hotel room or waiting room where it is all they have. I usually bring any bags I pick up at a hotel home with me, just in case I there’s ever an… um… tea-mergency. ;)

Not bad. Just not great.

It was really good. A bit of a stronger tea than I’m use to, but I added some milk to make it more drinkable for me. I will continue drinking this tea that’s for sure!

I am surprised by this. liberTEAS said it best- it’s very ‘malty’, bold… and it just gives you a wonderfully smooth taste. I wouldn’t drink this without a bit of sugar personally, and I’m not one to normally add sugar.

I put a packet of this tea in my backpack this morning on the way out. While grabbing lunch I remembered I had it and asked the waiter to bring me a cup of hot water instead of my usual fresh lemonade. He looked at me like I was an idiot but understood later when I popped the teabag into the mug. It was nice. I’m not sure how long I let it steep since I left the bag floating around in the mug but that still didn’t give it enough flavor. I tried it before adding sugar and it had a surprisingly sweet taste. I think it’s a fine tea, it has an earthy quality I enjoyed. I might have to warm up to this flavor, though. I’ll give it a try later on this week and let you know how I like it.

Backlog.
Another bagged tea that I only drank because it was the only thing available…
I really need to start carrying loose leaf tea in my pocket…

This is definitely my favorite non-flavored tea that I’ve tried recently! Kind of dull “black,” but perfectly sweetened with a bit of sugar!
