Geek Steep S2E8 – Misfits
This is one of two teas that I drank while recording this episode. My entire goal during recording for this fandom was to pick as many dairy themed teas as possible to tie into one of the episodes we watched which is centered around the absurd super power of lactokinesis. However, I also wanted to challenge Marika to figure out my secret theme so I chose this one because it fit the theme but was a little less obvious that some of the other things I was considering – I mean, if I had picked three teas with “butter” or “milk” in the name it might have been a little too on the head.
It’s a delicious tea though with a subtle taste of starchy sweet corn, almond, and bananas that made for a light and cozy cuppa on what was a surprisingly cold recording day!
