Ugh. So today started out really lovely, mail packages, Sherlock books, and lots of work done! But halfway through the day I got bombarded with political stuff and later had a migraine. It was pretty awful and ruined my whole night. I had pizza, but it got eaten so quickly I barely got to enjoy it.
I’m having this because I’m trying to calm myself down and needed something herbal! This tea is very nice. I love the fruity pebble cereal smell and flavor. This tea totally hits the flavor profile that earl grey smells like! lol I am still not overly fond of earl grey. This tea is such a great late night cuppa because you get a full flavored tea without having to have caffeine. The green tea version of this is also pretty great, but has more lemon while this version is more rounded out with tropical tastiness.

Sherlock books are amazing… Hope that your migraine is gone and that you can fit in more tea, pizza and sherlock! :)

Tamm

Thank you so much for your well wishes! It’s mostly gone now. I just got the big, leather bound version of the Sherlock book collection from B&N yesterday and it’s so lovely! I’m really enjoying it.

I thought I had already tried this and logged this but it appears I was mistaking!

This is pretty good! I like the green rooibos base WITH the Citron. The citron is pretty tasty…mostly lemon and/or citrus but there is that little bit of wax/citronella candle type thing going on a bit.

It smells great and it’s taste isn’t too shabby either!

This is just so delicious, I’d say it’s one of the few non-fandom blends of Adagio that I truly love, and always want to have in stock. I need to try cold brewing it at some point. While it is very similar to Lemon Meringue (Tealish) and Lemon Chiffon (Della Terra), there’s still a creamier element here that I adore and want to continue drinking. One day, I should compare the three side-by-side.

Tried this iced today – and it’s delish! It’s sweet enough on its own, no sugar or Splenda needed. I steeped it for about two hours in a Diet Snapple bottle.

This reminds me of an Arnold Palmer, you know: a blend of lemonade and tea. Really good and I’m glad I can at least take advantage of green rooibos since red rooibos is my Tea Foe!

Cofftea

I wouldn’t cold brew it, but I definitely need to try this one chilled.

Fruit loops! OMG this smells just like fruit loops brewed up. Tastes nothing like them, thank goodness! I like this. The citrus is seriously backgrounded which is more to my liking than overwhelming acidity.
There is some sweetness at the finish – otherwise I’m not tasting too much, but this is perfect for an evening drink to put me to sleep. I’m actually feeling sleepy already…

Very nice! Sweet, with creamy notes, and a nice tangy flavor too. Reminds me a bit of lemon meringue pie. The rooibos doesn’t become an overwhelming flavor here, instead, it compliments the fruit flavors quite nicely.

Pretty tea! It looks like I’ve got green rooibos, chunks of fruit (the package is downstairs, I’m assuming orange and lemon) and some pretty flower petals in the tea. The liquor is a nice deep orange, it smells tangy and citrusy.

I definitely taste the lemon, and I think the orange kind of mingles with it. It’s not bad, especially considering that citrus teas aren’t my favorite. It’s sweet, definitely no sugar needed here. I’d love to try it iced as I love the Green Rooibos Bonita iced (which has more fruit like peaches, and no citrus). Tasty!

Edit: I just read in another review that this smells like fruity pebbles, so I re-sniffed and yes it does! Kind of tastes like it too!

My first experiences with Adagio tea is proving a good one.
These Rooibos blends are really tasty, and good quality! Me likey.

This one is tart and tastes just like a lemon meringue pie with my frothed milk. The rooibos gives the perfect pie base, and a little drizzle of vanilla for sweetness. Mmmm I’m in heaven.

p.s. they changed my desktop at work, I’m now imaged to Denver (I work in a US department), so no more Steepster at work. I know it’s probably a good thing, but I was actually less productive today! Withdrawl haha.

Thanks SimplyJenW!

Another of the teas I received in the swap with Brandy. I really love green rooibos. I don’t know why the green makes me so much happier than the red which makes me blech, but it does make me happy and I’m going with it. This was delicious hot, even more so with a pinch of sugar. I could imagine this being a great iced drink. I think I will be buying more of this and the other green rooibos blends Adagio has in the not so near future (not so near because I have a mountain of tea I am working my way through and I couldn’t be happier!)

Hmm… pretty good! It like an earthy lemon. You can definitely tell it’s a rooibos, but it’s not as strongly medicinal. I think I’m slowly getting used to rooibos thanks to all of DaisyChubb’s samples, this one included. :)
There’s a hint of bitterness. I think it’s from the lemon peel. There’s a sweet sugary kind of background that I’m finding in all my rooibos and honeybush I’ve tried so far. I thought it was part of the flavoring, but now I’m beginning to think it might just be the rooibos. I should get some unflavored ones to taste.
