poor watson. i keep drinking his tea but never wanna actually review it.
but listen, the number of times i’ve had a friend over for tea tasting, and they declare this is one of the favorites teas they’ve tasted so far, always surprises me. this tea is good but it obviously doesn’t speak to me they way it does to them.

this blend of irish breakfast, cinnamon, earl grey green is obviously perfect for them!
i’ll use my sister as an example. she loves rose teas and earl greys and lavender teas and chamomile teas. just last week she was like “you never buy earl greys” and ….pause pause…. she’s right. and even when i buy anything with roses in it, it’s usually only because i know she will love it and drink it!! besides, who better to drink your tea than your friends.

Watson is the perfect support team. a dedicated and loyal friend. the most thoughtful and reliable of my company love this tea. and i like to think that says something.

Received this in a swap with someone. I don’t remember who, so if you were on here, I’m sorry! I just reorganized my tea collection, and what little semblance of “order” I had before is gone. Of course, now it’s much easier to find things. (http://bit.ly/Obi0Vy). It goes, in descending order, Black, Green, Herbal, White/Oolong, Fruits/Flowers/Herbs. Whew.

This is my study break. I had class until 10, and then I was in high school from 11-3. Run to a voice lesson, practice my Bach, grab food, back to the room, it’s time for Psych, Disabilities, Shakespeare and Drama. AND TEA.

I had this pre-bagged because I thought I’d have time to stop for water. Not the case. Sigh. But I’m drinking it now.

It’s okay. It’s sort of like a spicy black. There’s a little bit of the bergamot from the Earl Grey Green, and that’s chased with the cinnamon. It’s a strong Irish Breakfast base too. It’s not my favorite, but it’s good.

In the tin the earl grey overpowers pretty much everything, but brewed is another story. The earl grey is a more toned down, which is lovely because while I like early grey I do want to taste the other flavors in the blend. My sense of smells is still a little off (allergies yay!) and that can mess with taste well. The cinnamon isn’t particularly strong, but I think I can tell it’s in there, provides a nice little hint of spice. Really lovely blend overall, smooth taste, good everyday tea.

Thanks Shmiracles! I rather enjoy this blend. It’s a nice blend of flavors. The earl gray isn’t too strong and the cinnamon adds a very light touch of spice with a bold black tea base. Tried it hot and iced. Very nice :D

The recommended steeping parameters for this are 212 degrees for three minutes. This has both black and green tea, so I was a bit skeptical but went with it anyway. I think it did affect the green tea, because this didn’t taste very good at all. It also has earl grey green in it, and haven’t been a fan of Adagio’s earl greys. I think this just isn’t the tea for me

In love with this tea. It smells wonderful, before and after brewing, the touch of cinnamon is lovely, and, to quote my mom, it tastes like a muffin! One of the most comforting teas I’ve ever had. Tastes a bit funny with milk, but that could be just the ingredients. I like it with just a touch of honey, personally!

Sometimes, this tea is pretty good. Sometimes it really, really isn’t. It is a difficult tea to brew without burning the green, but still getting full flavor out of the blacks. I think I’ve finally found the perfect time/temperature combo for me. It brings out the cinnamon, and earl grey green isn’t too bitter. I like this with a little honey and milk.

The taste was quite unique and at first wasn’t too sure about it. But the more I tasted I could defiantly taste the Earl Grey Green. The others teas complimented it well it wasn’t too mellow or too spicy. It was just right :)

This tea feels like being wrapped in your favourite snuggly jumper by a fire. It wraps you up and tucks you into the corner of the sofa and kisses the top of your head. It’s so incredibly smooth despite the cinnamon flavouring and nothing beats it in the early hours of the morning or just before bed. Though I normally take any Earl Grey with a slice of lemon, the Irish Breakfast balances it out enough that it’s absolutely lovely with a splash of milk. When brewing the smell of cinnamon is strong, but not over powering. The Earl Grey green is really what blends these flavours together and makes for the perfect cup of tea that can appeal to anyone who enjoys a lovely cup of tea.

You can certainly smell (and taste) the cinnamon, and the combination of flavours is…different. It’s powerful, and I feel almost like I need to try this again before I decide if I like it or not, because on my first go around it almost felt like there was just too much going on flavour-wise for me to pay attention to the richness or enjoyment of the tea. I thought there was some…mint involved somewhere— I find it a bit odd there isn’t.
