The flavor is a nice combination of cranberry and a mild green tea. The green base is the perfect choice to complement the fruity flavor. I got a bit of weirdness/dryness the first time I tried this, but I brewed it more carefully the next time, and for the most part, that disappeared. This turns out to be a light, relaxing tea. I really like how 52teas accomplishes its cranberry flavor. This one also had a bit of a sparkly quality to the flavor. The rebrew tasted almost the same. Very good!

I scratched off this label and immediately thought Roswell Strange will be happy. I was also happy. I can’t say I have ever had a clafoutis, but I am pretty sure it’s the giant fruit pancake thing. I could be wrong.
This has a nice cranberry pear flavor. It’s fruity and creamy and nice. Alas, I can’t help but compare it to DAVIDsTEA’s Cranberry Pear (aka as the Cranberry Pear tea, imo) and it’s just not quite there. I blame the base tea. Cranberry Pear is mostly fruit with some black tea. This is on a green tea base and that’s just not my preference. It is light so it does work well enough, but it still contributes a touch of grassiness I could do without

Anne, I feel targeted.
Like, I don’t know if there’s any tea that I have been more vocally a fan of that DT’s Cranberry Pear – and so the moment I saw cranberry pear under today’s scratch off sticker I was immediately sold. If there is any flavour combo going to get me excited for a green tea, this is it. I felt so seen in my flavour preferences – but in the best way.
It’s fucking incredible and, Anne, I will be needing some of this one as well. All the things I like about the DT Cranberry Pear blend are here; the kiss of tartness, the supple pear, and the super velvety and rich vanilla. It’s a little less bold, because of the base change up, and there’s a very sly warming cinnamon that sneaks into the sips but it’s a refreshing change of pace from this delicious profile that I adore.

I didn’t target you, but I’m super glad you enjoyed this tea. I actually found a recipe for a Cranberry Pear Clafoutis & I liked the idea of combining these two flavors together along with a vanilla custard-y kind of flavor – it sounded perfect for the holiday collection. :)
Regardless of where the inspiration came from (though, that recipe sounds DELICIOUS!), I’m just super happy that it struck at all ;)
