From 52teas

This week has been crazy. I can’t believe it’s Friday night and I’m just posting the Tea of the Week. Well, better Nate than lever… Here’s a fun new blend inspired by a suggestion from my wife. It’s a nice Fujian oolong with freeze-dried strawberries and watermelon, strawberry and champagne flavors.

It’s not that it was bad. My daughter and I tried this Gongfu today. The first steep had the familiar strawberry flavor – in fact my daughter commented that it reminded her of the Strawberry Marshmallow Treat tea, and she didn’t know it was from the same company.

Second steep, no strawberry flavor at all. Just a sort of green oolong flavor. It’s a shame since it smelled great in the bag.
