From St. James Tearoom

Discover the succulent little treasures of a berry grove in this delicate and fresh black tea. Highlighting strawberries and blackberries, it brings summertime to the tea table in any season. Enjoy it hot or iced, with a touch of white sugar to sweeten, but hold the milk, lest it mask the fruity notes.

water at a rolling boil (~212° F) 1 tsp tea leaves per 6 oz. water (standard teacup) ~ 5 1 ⁄2 minutes: Drain tea strainer, serve, and enjoy! white sugar will complement, but this tea does not take milk

Realized I missed reviewing this one. Oops! Perhaps it was because this wasn’t a terribly memorable tea…from what I can recall, it was a pretty basic black tea base with a very light strawberry flavor. Certainly not unpleasant, but quite forgettable.

We really enjoyed this one during afternoon tea. It’s such a great balance of black tea and fruit. They sent us home with some extra, and this time it tastes quite floral and like dried strawberries. It’s a little lighter than I’d prefer, but interesting!
