This one was alright, but it just ultimately didn’t speak very strongly to me…

I found, of the fruit flavoured matchas, this to be the lightest in terms of flavour – and then on top of that it was similarly floral to the pear matcha but with a drying factor that exaggerated those floral peach notes to me to a point of borderline unpleasantness. I don’t think a floral interpretation on peach is a bad thing, but it’s definitely not the direction that I personally want in a peach matcha – give my juiciness or creaminess instead please!

Sipdown! (13 | 13)

Yay, look at me go, actually finishing some matcha ha ha! :P (we’ll ignore the fact that I still have like 5+ 30g tins in my drawer plus another two flavored packets..)

I’ve been enjoying iced flavored matcha with oat milk every morning, and this one really lends itself to that preparation. It tastes almost exactly like that peaches & cream instant oatmeal packet that I used to love! Less sweet, obviously, but the peach of the matcha together with the creamy, oat-y milk replicates the idea perfectly. So perfect for breakfast ha ha!

And if I’m feeling frisky, I might just add a drizzle of maple or vanilla syrup just to augment the yumminess… ;)

Look at you go! :)

My eggnog matcha yesterday was so delicious that I was tempted to start the day with another one. One matcha drink a day is plenty and I was in the mood for more tea sipping.

Are you able to drink more caffeine after you have a matcha, or like me, one and done?

Courtney

I’ve started my morning with matcha too!

Cameron B.

I’m not at all sensitive to caffeine, so I don’t really pay attention to how much I have!

Evol Ving Ness

Neither am I, but matcha sends me to the moon.

Upon opening this sample packet of Peach Matcha from 3 Leaf Tea I was smacked in the face with intense peach aroma. I LOVED the scent of this Peach Matcha! It made me wonder if it was going to be ALL Peach and NO Matcha when it came to flavor. Let me tell you that was NOT the case. Once I whisked my hot matcha up in my cup I took my first sip and what I found was MAJOR defined and STRONG green matcha flavor with an underlying peach flavor! This strong matcha base is not for wimps! It’s of the stronger matchas I have sipped on that is for sure!

So, flavored matcha. Besides the green tea Frappe addiction and my own vanilla or caramel syrup creations, I haven’t had any experience. You have to start somewhere, right? Turns out I didn’t need to be apprehensive. This matcha base is from Japan. It is bright spring green. Using my new milk frother (that I am now totally sold on) this mixed super easy and created a super foamy drink. I used Splenda instead of sugar because the monkey misses me. My first impression was this tasted somewhere between the old Stash peach I used to love and actual peach. Then I read Oolong Owl’s excellent review. Of course – peaches and cream, how did I miss that? Smooth and creamy without a hint of bitterness. Definitely a refreshing afternoon sip for me.

Mmmmm, this matcha made as a latte is like drinking peaches and cream (with matcha!) The flavoring on this one is light (lighter than the other one I tried, coconut) with a white peach flavor, mostly in the aftertaste. With light flavoring you can enjoy the matcha more.
