I had a hot cup of this to go yesterday because my lovely tea guide offered me it for free – since I waited patiently while she went to storage to get the sachets of the mothers day teas they are allowed to sell individually. (Which I am so excited to try) Anyway, this was a nice darjeeling black tea. I didn’t notice many differences really – but it was pleasantly astringent, and there was a slight fruity note. I don’t notice too much with straight teas. But it was pretty good.

I’m jealous you got your hands on the Mother’s Day Sachets – we’re still waiting for them to be shipped to our store!

Hi, I’m Michelle and I am pretty much obsessed with tea. Some people say I have a problem. I mostly drink DavidsTea – but I am open to trying other ones too.

Things I LOVE in tea:
-Fruits (especially peach, melon, strawberry, banana, berries etc)
-Chocolate
-Lemongrass
-Cinnamon

Things I don’t MIND in tea:
-Stevia
-Vanilla
-Pineapple
—Mint & Peppermint

Things/ingredients I HATE in tea:
-Coconut (Rare exceptions)
-Nuts (Some exceptions)
-Caramel/toffee
-Earl Grey (Bergamot)
-Rice/fennel
-Coffee beans
-Bamboo
-Lavender

I am quite picky with my teas. If the primary ingredients are mixed with something I don’t tend to like – I will try it and its possible I’ll like it. But if the tea is mostly/primarily something I hate – I won’t even try it.
I mostly like Herbals, Green, Oolong, White and Black teas.
