This one has been on my shopping list for a while – mostly because I found it to be so odd…the flavor combos, I mean! Kristen was so awesome and sent me some of this! thanks Kristen!
The prominent flavor that reaches my nose – first and foremost – was the papaya! It also has a slight woodsy aroma underneath, too!
The taste is very different! I can certainly taste the Papaya and the other flavor I am tasting quite a bit of is the pumpkin, actually. While sipping I find this flavored olong to be pretty good. I must say that I am not fond of the lingering aftertaste tho. The sweetness of the Papaya paired with the funkiness of the pumpkin then you add in the cardamom and that 3-ingredient combo lingers something gnarly!
All-in-all I like the taste of the tea while sipping…just not crazy about the aftertaste. So…I will go with a rating of lower 70s – I don’t know if I would go above 75 mostly because of the disturbing aftertaste….but like I said…other than the aftertaste I do like this one!

I think this might be one of teavanas better flavored oolong teas. I just really love it on a really cold day :) probably cause of the pumpkin. It does have an aftertaste.. so i try to not use water thats really hot because i feel like it makes it bitter. thats just me though (:
