106 Tasting Notes
MMMM this is good!!!! What a great cup of tea. I tend to not like raspberry and chocolate together, but for some reason it really works in this tea. It’s got a sharp taste to it that I can’t really put my finger on…. I’m guessed the chicory root because it’s really giving it a toasted flavor! I like it, and the boost it is giving me this cold afternoon is wonderful too!

Yay finally caught up to today’s tea that I drank this morning! Just got this in the mail, wow i’m really glad I saw this on the website. It’s delicious!!!! I swear it tastes almost exactly like a white chocolate chai hot chocolate from Starbucks. I love it and can’t wait to try it again. I’m glad I CAN’T taste the ginger…. that worried me a bit! MMM the cardamom, the white chocolate, and the light chai spices all mixed together is so so delicious!
Flavors: Cardamom, Spices, White Chocolate

I got a sample of this in the advent calendar. I was really looking forward to this one, however I was really disappointed. I guess when I read raspberry I figured tartness… but this is far from it. It’s just sweet I found. And not a good sweet. I guess I get where the “cream pie” comes in…. but I miss the bold raspberries. I hate to say it…cause there’s only been one other one by Davids tea so far I haven’t liked (ginger turmeric tonic)… but I ended up dumping the rest of this out. Too sweet for me and too blah.

My order finally arrived! Weather has been BAD so they couldn’t deliver it last week :(
All of the new 6 teas I purchased are all involve chocolate in some way or another. Including a huge time of chocolate macaroon… mmmmm. I think I’m a chocolate addict :) When I saw this online, I had to have it! It’s as good as I imagined, the chocolate and the almond blend so well together in this one. Somehow it almost seems creamy, even tho I didn’t add anything to it. This is a definite stock item for me!
Flavors: Almond, Chocolate, Creamy, Toasted
Preparation
I really really enjoyed this one! To me it tasted like a fresh picked raspberry, tart and juicy. I’m a little confused tho about the caffeine content… on DT’s website it says its a low blend, but I ordered the rainbow tin of it and it says “stimulant” on it. I added just a pinch of sugar to this one, I also let it steep for about 15 mins too. I think I’ll be keeping this one in stock if I get that kick of energy that many people wrote about!
Tried it for the second time…. I think this is becoming one of my favs!
Flavors: Earth, Raspberry, Tart

Alright, so this time I steeped extraaaaaaa lonnnng, and I didn’t add any milk this time either. I really wanted to taste the chocolate, chillies and the chai this time! Yay I’ve got it! I rated it 70 before but im bumping it up to an 82! Holy does the ancho chili ever come through once it cools a little bit. Oh man my last sip was spicy! It’s a very nice tea actually!
Flavors: Chocolate, Peppercorn, Spicy

I am new to the tea game, so I still tend to miss coffee throughout the day (I still have one cup each morning tho). This tea is a really good version of coffee. It really is quite close to the real thing, but different in a good way at the same time. This was one of my first orders online, and I just recently purchased 100g more of it! Needless to say… I love it. I love it with a little bit of milk and sugar, just the way I take my coffee :)
