This is one of my favorite green teas because it is so easy. I brew it at ~160 for about a minute (less for additional steeps) and it is always delicious. It is pretty sweet in flavor, and has a very grassy, vegetal aroma. I thought I disliked sencha for awhile, before I tried this tea. I think there were two issues- not brewing correctly (too hot and ending up with a bitter brew) and using low-quality sencha. This is good stuff, and very well priced from Den’s.

I have a blend I call Fruit Punch- it consists of mostly hibiscus, with a little bit of Adagio’s Blood Orange, and a pinch of rose petals. The hibiscus has a very deep, tangy flavor. The orange sweetens it up a little, and the rose adds a nice floral touch. I love my “Fruit Punch” iced, but tonight I’m savoring it hot.

I ended up with a random sample of shu from a friend. It has a nice earthy sense about it, without the taste of a barnyard.

It’s my lucky day! I got a sample of this with my Den’s order. It is wonderful! It has a very rich flavor, and a beautiful deep green color when brewed.

This tea has a very unique flavor- kind of toasty & sweet. Definitely unlike any other tea I’ve tried. I love it- drink it almost daily.

I’m drinking Organic Sencha from a tea shop in Canada- it was given to me as a gift.

I blend half and half with lemongrass. Green rooibos is more mellow than the red- quite a different flavor.

This tea has a fairly sweet / floral flavor. It is nice when I’m not in the mood for a really “green” flavor. I like it, but it isn’t an everyday tea for me.

I’m trying the new batch that just came in from Adagio. Love the smoky flavor. I always inadvertently brew it a little strong- since it is so compact, I need to go with a scant 1 tsp per 8 oz.
