I got addicted to this tea last year in my residence!
It’s just so good and it’s such a good way to enjoy a warm cup of tea without feeling like I’m going over my daily caffeine limit.

It tastes very good I think, and the fact that the lemony taste is strong is a big plus for me. And there is a mild sweetness that lingers with the freshness of the lemons that just makes this tea so much better. I had the tea with a sweetner for the first time today – and it gets even better!!!

The only bad thing is, I can’t find it ANYWHERE (in boxes) in Toronto… The only option I have is to order 6 boxes of it – and while I do love this tea… I don’t think I need 120 bags of the stuff. not yet anyway ;)

Is there something wrong with my taste buds? This has to be one of the best teas that David’s offers. Compared to their fragrant ones like Forever nuts, etc. this one’s so fresh and invigorating. Whereas their other teas tend to leave a “sticky” flavour in your mouth this one just snaps off and hits the spot! Ahahaah ;)

Now THIS is the tea that made me start to enjoy my cup of Chai.
All else failed miserably and after each cup, I was left wondering why in the world people were raving about a drink that tasted like bile.

And then Spicy Chai to the rescue! :) Soy&stevia work wonders with it too.
I still prefer my green tea over chai a hundredfold, but this one is definitely one of my favourites now, and was also the first to go (as in I actually finished a bag of it out of dozens of other teas I have).

I can’t wait till I’m back in Toronto so I can try their coconut chai which happens to go out of stock every time!! That says something, and it makes me excited!

I’ve tried around 30+ Davids Teas. I tried 2 of theirs. I love tealish. I like David’s Tea.

drank Patisserie by Tealish

I’ve tried just two teas from Tealish – Spicy Chai and Patisserie.

I love my desserts, but I can never seem to find satisfaction in these ‘dessert’ teas – all the ones I’ve tried, they’ve failed. But Patisserie comes the closest to making me feel that satisfaction of eating freshly baked bread, cookies, cobbler, whatever it may be.

And you can actually taste the nuttiness of something in there (haha, I forgot what goes in it). And I do love teas I can enjoy with my soy&stevia or rather it just be fresh (one or the other), but this one’s an exception. It’s not ‘fresh’ but it definitely doesn’t need the creamer. It’s better without it.

I love english breakfast tea. And for convenience sake, I purchased it at David’s Tea. I must say – theirs tastes a bit watered down and flavourless compared to others I’ve tried.
But still, it’s english breakfast, hence the good review.

I’m docking points because of the really subtle taste, but other than that – it’s ENGLISH BREAKFAST. YUM

I’ve heard raving reviews over this one, and I know David’s Tea prides itself on Forever Nuts. It’s almost always the tea offered for a whiff for new comers to the growing chain.
And rightly so, since it smells PERFECT. It smells perfect. The taste? I felt like I was drinking boiled perfume. Yuck. Maybe I should just leave the tin open in my room to make it smell nice.

I wish it tasted like the ‘donuts’ or the ‘peach cobbler’ people keep going on about. Then I can stop being chubby-me and just drink this instead. hahaha but NO.

I really have to say, David’s own concoctions are almost always a disappointment at first. If I get teas like English Breakfast, Earl Grey, etc. you just can’t go wrong. But once I get their trademark teas – like long life oolong…

Well, moving on. This tea isn’t very good. hot. maybe it would be better chilled… But I say this from my experience with McNulty’s (in NYC) where I got myself a Nectar tea for just under $5, and it tasted exactly the same. There really isn’t anything special about this I find, you just taste peaches.

Peach is good. Tea is good. But nothing all that special from David’s.

I think I go through a box every month. It’s just so good. But then again, I’m a huge fan of green tea.

I noticed that if you don’t follow the directions and use boiling water, it really does ruin the taste somewhat (I haven’t found this to be the case with all my other green teas for some reason). But if steeped properly, it’s just so so so good!!!

After every lunch and dinner meal, I finish off with a cup of this tea.
In the summer, I just get a 1L bottle of Dasani and put the bags in there and drink it all day to cool myself down (and I swear I lost 5lbs once because I did this).

Overall, my favourite tea – and that’s saying something since I have bags and bags and tins and tins of teas in my room. You know what I HATE though, they started cutting down on the matcha they add in… lame

Before I tried the actual earl grey, I got 50g of this one!
And it is good with a bit of soy & stevia.

It’s more soothing I’d say, than their straight earl grey tea – which is stronger and more pungent. It’s really good for winding down after a hard day (if you’re not sensitive to a bit of caffeine, that is)

drank Earl Grey by DAVIDsTEA

I first bought the cream of earl grey and LOVED it, so after I finished that one, I thought I’d just go for straight earl grey. And got myself 100g. Unfortunately, it doesn’t compare very well to the cream one, but nonetheless, it’s still pleasant with enough soy & stevia added.

But I agree with other reviewers that it is indeed strong, and the bergamot oil’s scents is overpowering and somewhat like a “punch.”

I still enjoy it though, can’t hate earl grey :)
