17 Tasting Notes
Mmm, I love this tea. It doesn’t make me feel weird like I’m drinking hot fruits (something I’m iffy on sometimes, depending on the fruit). It would taste fantastic iced or as a base for an alcoholic drink. I love the pink-red berry color that this tea brings. I add in a heaping teaspoon of german rock sugar to balance out the tartness and to round out the fruity flavor.
Towards the end of the cup my mouth does get a little dry from the acidity in the tea but it isn’t as bad as others I’ve tried. Love the superfruits!
Preparation
I really like this tea! While hot, I don’t like the scent that much to be honest but maybe it’ll grow on me. It’s like, wait a minute, this is hot orange juice…but it’s not because it tastes way lighter and the added floral notes help it from becoming too tart. I also add a bit of german rock sugar for the hell of it and it probably helped ease any tartness that I don’t like a whole lot of in teas.
Preparation
I got this as a sample from my recent Teavana order. I have no idea why they asked for me to dump the whole 1oz bag into my teamaker. It was just way way too strong. Too sweet – I usually add about a teaspoon or less rock sugar in my cup. How much was actually in there? It’s just overload of everything. I tried to enjoy it but I thought it was just ok.
I love the simplicity of this tea. I don’t taste too many fruity notes and the jasmine is pretty light but welcoming. I add about a teaspoon of rock sugar for no reason, I just like it that way. I had this with my dinner and I’m about to steep another cup. To me it’s nothing too special or mind blowing but I still love it for what it is. Yum!
