48 Tasting Notes
I do not generally like pu’erh teas. In fact, I put off tasting this for quite some time because of it. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that I really enjoy it. I don’t care for the stevia (it always tastes bitter to me), but the chocolate notes are great.
Preparation
I’ve noticed something – the two prepackaged matchas in the advent calendar (foil packets as opposed to ziplock bags) were by far the worst. Maybe its a freshness issue?
Seaweed that the hint of a berry walked by quickly leaving behind a metallic taste.

Preparation
I’m genuinely not a pumpkin spice fan (which is off as I’m a huge spiced chai fan. I like warn spices, I just don’t like the “pumpkin” they throw in with it. This tea is so-so. The matcha taste is fresh and not seaweed-y, the warm spices are nice, but the weird vegetation made it nearly impossible for me to finish.
