Not a fan. Apple forward, and the peach is that terrible peach aldehyde flavor.

Adventaggedon Day 15: Tea 2/8

This was one of my favourite teas from today! To be honest I thought it looked a little bit unremarkable based on just reading the ingredient list but steeped up the combination of the juicy ripe peach/nectarine and papaya was simultaneously sweet and flavourful with a tangy brightness to it while also having a rounder kind of deepness in the finish. I don’t see anything in the ingredients list that would indicate a cream/vanilla flavouring but I swear I taste a very pleasant cream note in the finish of the sip that just tied everything together beautifully.

Peach teas are hit or miss for me, but I think I would probably order this one!

Advent Day 16

They went easy on the hibiscus. ‘Preciate that. It’s not even pink when brewed. Starts off lemon sour and sweet in the sip where I can start to make out peach. The finish starts off very peachy with artificial sweetener. I’d have guessed stevia, but it isn’t listed in the ingredients. Maybe it’s whatever they hyper sweetened the dried fruit with? As the too sweet okay-ish peach flavor winds down I’m greeted with the sudden taste of ash. Like someone burn a peach to ashes? Luckily the ash only lasts 5-10 seconds and then fades leaving me with the vague flavor of dried peach, wondering WTF just happened and sipping again to relive the horror.

Prepared by cold steeping for several hours. Maybe there is a sweet spot in there where it’s more palatable.

First of all – the smell is lovely! Peachy, sour, vibrant, very tropical, makes you feel like you’re someplace warm and glorious (very much unlike Cambridge, UK, November 2020 ;-))
You can smell lots of different fruit, but peach, hibiscus, apple and chicory are definitely the main notes.
I’m not the biggest fan of fruit teas in general but this one was definitely drinkable. Quite refreshing, would probably taste much better cold, served with ice and actual peaches in July. Might actually give that a go next summer.
If you like fruit infusions and peachy peaches – you won’t be disappointed.

made it as a night cap. It was so sweet and tangy. It was an artificial sweetness that I couldn’t get out my mouth.

Lovely fruit tea with a really strong peach flavour. A good one for iced, and hot it works well with either honey or milk.

I made a hot mug of this last night but then forgot about it, so I drank it today cut with soda water… which is how it turns out I drank the rest of it. And I enjoyed it again so much that I’ve finished my stash off in the same manner tonight.
