I definitely don’t think myself an expert at all but a cup of this today didn’t go amiss. Warm, sweet and malty, this is a comforting cup and stands well straight.

Quite happy to get this one out of the cupboard. I opened it once the lemon myrtle was done and dusted, so I’d have another plain black handy, and gosh it’s a good one. Just a big strong cup that’s delicious with a dash of milk and just what’s needed at the start of some days.

I’m keen to try it with the original brewing method listed on the box, similar to a traditional masala chai it appears to be. Something to have a bit of fun with soon.

Oh, damnit.

I hate it when a limited edition blend is really good.

I’ve been hoarding this in the cupboard since January but when I ran out of Gone Surfing it was time to bust this open and I’m reminded of exactly why I snatched it up when I could, because it’s great.

It’s sweet, much sweeter than Gone Surfing, but herbal sweet (NOT licorice root sweet) and still zippy and calming and I’m in love with it.

So annoyed.

Ah, here we go! Bit of flavour here, glad I finished my samples with this one rather than Brains or I would have walked away with a lesser impression. So, yes, good. This is one I’d consider restocking if I didn’t have to try all the other tea in the world first.

Now that I’m all out of my beloved Gone Surfing I can put more focus into trying and/or finishing the other relaxing herbals I’ve got. Starting with this one, because I’m not that fussed with it. It’s a bit too tart, I think? I think that’s what it is.

Eh, this tastes like barely nothing. We’ll see if I can write a phd after it but whatever.

My favourite way to see out a tea from the cupboard is with a big ol’ damn pot of it.

Adding this to the wish list to remind me to restock it one day! Yes, I enjoyed it that much—and it’s a locally blended one, so extra good as far as I’m concerned.
