3 Tasting Notes

I really hate this one. Tried it twice and something about it hit me as sickly sweet, even though I usually like sweet fruit teas teas iced. I think I’m just not a huge fan of yogurt flavoring in a beverage and I think I’m learning that strawberry isn’t my very favorite flavoring either.

I got this tea in the David’s Tea advent calendar and read/watched some reviews before trying it. It just sounded like it would work better as an iced tea and I’m glad I tried it that way because I really enjoyed it. I’m hoping it goes on sale after the holidays because I’ll definitely buy some extra to drink through the warmer months.

This is one of my favorite teas from David’s. I’ve finished at least a full tin of this tea and just ordered another 4 ounces. I’m lucky in that I love the flavors here—ginger, mint, fennel—I know some people find it medicinal or too strong, but I love this tea even when I’m not having tummy trouble. I find it very soothing. And if I have a touch of heartburn or indigestion then I definitely head straight for this tea. I even like it iced.

There aren’t many teas I don’t like, given the right blend, preparation and setting.

Ginger is one of my favorite flavors…I love ginger beer, ginger candy…hell, I even love ginger hair. So I’m here for most ginger-heavy teas. Hook me up.

I’m new to matcha, but completely obsessed since I made my first latte.

I’ve also been using my fruity teas for iced tea, and I still use twinings bags with lemon and honey for basics like irish breakfast even though I have a cupboard full of nice loose tea.
