Such a lovely, light cup of tea. I love the smell as I open the bag, and I love how the tea (in the tea bags) is actually pretty. I accidentally heated the water too hot, so after swirling the pot around a bit, I poured a cup into a cold mug (everything’s cold around here these days), then to the actual mug with the tea. Success! Great tea without the high temperature.
Also wondered if anyone had seen this in the NYT: http://www.nytimes.com/2010/01/09/business/global/09tea.html?pagewanted=1&emc=eta1 It’s about the business of tea. I checked here, and didn’t see too many reviews for the company it discusses (Dilmah), but still thought you might find it interesting!

Thanks for the link … will be interested to see if the brand creeps into this part of the world. (Probably not; in SW Missouri, Tazo and Republic of Tea are considered exotic.)
I order some staple groceries through a website called Alice, and I have noticed that they carry Dilmah teas. I haven’t ordered any yet, as I wasn’t familiar with the brand, but I think I’ll add some to my next order.
I love Alice, BTW – we live quite a distance from the grocery store, and I don’t like to be constantly making car trips because I’ve run out of laundry detergent or coffee. Shipping is free, and they automatically credit manufacturer’s coupons. And they carry Walker’s biscuits!
@Cynthia Carter – I looove Alice as well. Just made my first order this week. I live in the city and don’t have a car, so it’s great for ordering bulk items that I can’t carry, like paper towels. And the prices are so reasonable!

Neat! I hadn’t heard of Alice before… I use Amazon’s subscribe and save for something similar… but Alice looks like it might offer some other brands!
