I had an awful night and woke up craving the comfort of a creamy vanilla black, so I immediately reached for this one.
I was having some intense tummy trouble at 3 am this morning that was so bad that I managed to pinch a nerve in my back. My shoulder is swollen, my neck can’t move, my arm is numb, and the pain is so intense that it had knocked the wind out of me when I moved unexpectedly and set it off. If it isn’t any better by the time my wife gets home from work, I think I’m going to go to emerg.
So yeah, I’m more than a little grumpy. Figuring I’ve earned it, I added splash of eggnog to the tea. Not really an eggnog latte, just eggnog in the place of milk. It’s goooood. Definitely the treat I was craving. Now to go change the popsicles on my back.

oooh i need to get out to this company sooner rather than later! sounds good! and i hope you feel better.
My wife fussed at me until I let her take me to emerg. I’m okay, just sore and hopped up on pain meds. Hopefully I’ll get sleep tonight.
Eep! I hope you feel better soon. That sounds just awful.

Ugh, pinched nerves in one’s back are awful. I did that last summer and it was the most helpless I’ve ever felt. In my case, it was in my lower back, and I couldn’t lift my legs enough to walk up stairs, meaning I was stranded in my living room for about a day.
