I have had this before and loved it. This love has continued to this batch as well. I would love to note more about this but I don’t have time. Gotta love Tech week, moving, and school all at once with a heaping scoop of work.

Hate the smell, love the taste. That seems to be the theme of the teas that I have had over the last few hours. This one is very nice, though it smells very generic. There are nice chocolate notes and very little bitterness. I might not buy this one regularly, but as a sample, not bad.

Dry Smell: Raisins and hay.

Wet Smell: Like Brussel sprouts.

Well, this tastes vary similar to Brussel sprouts. I like brussel sprouts so this works for me. There is a bit of mineral taste to it though that just peaks through.

Let me start by saying this; Very interesting….

Dry Smell: Like fresh horse poop.

Wet: when water was first added it smelled like rancid fish, after it finished steeping it smelled similar to musty cucumber water.

It tastes like cucumber water. Very strong cucumber water that also happens to have a little bit of a bit in it. I don’t really like cucumber or cucumber water at all, so this is… Well interesting. Could have been worse though, but it could have been a lot better. Might steep it again later and see how it is though.

I really do not know how to describe this tea. I brewed it up several different ways and it tastes so good every time. There are hints of sweet potato, which is interesting and various other flavors I cannot describe. I am in love.

So this is another of my free teas samples that I got from Teavivre. It seems like it might be something interesting, so here we go.

Dry Smell: Like peanuts, more specifically when you open a new jar or tub of peanuts from the store. Making me hungry.

Wet: Smells like wet spinach with a little bit of the peanut smell lingering in there.

Taste: Like peanuts and spinach. It’s kind of like a salad, which is interesting. I would drink this again.

Dry Smell: Somewhat buttery and vegetative.

Wet: Mostly vegetables or leaves.

There doesn’t seem to be much of a milky taste up front as it tastes like TKJ. Now the aftertaste is where we start getting into the milky area of things. The feeling it leaves in the mouth is very similar to that of having just drank a tall glass of milk.

Dry Smell: Plum, Sugar, Milk Chocolate, and a hint of Smokieness.

Wet Smell: Vegetable and Mineral.

Tastes just how the wet leaves smelled. It was nice and I shared a bit of it with a friend and they enjoyed it as well.

Dry Smell: Like 86% dark chocolate from Ghirardelli.

Steeped: I don’t really have anything to say, which is a little odd. There really doesn’t seem to be anything that discernible about this tea from any other black tea I have had in the past. It’s not bad, just very run of the mill.
