Allergies are in full swing, and messing with everything, so I went with a stronger flavor, but not chai, tea this morning.

I also went with a shorter steep time, and that seems to have benefited this tea. Although this tea can taste medicinal, the shorter steep time helped with that. It now tastes more like how I thought it would. Still not sure about the fig…the only fig I know is from a Fig Newton, but it has that sort of note somewhere. Mostly cherry, though.

I enjoyed this tea, which didn’t really taste like I thought it would. I expected a more tropical taste for some reason, and didn’t get that. It wasn’t too tart like if it was just cranberries, either. I got 2 good steeps out of it, probably because of the shorter steep times.

I know, this tea hasn’t been released yet, so hopefully, no one will be looking at my posting. However, I just HAD to rate this one.

Wow…this is amazing! Tastes like chocolate and Kahlua. That’s exactly what it tasted like to me. The first steep was really good (3:30), the second steep, not so much (4:00). But still pretty good, and I really do like this. I guess I went out of order on this month’s weeks.

Now to find out what Qu Hao is.

Alas, the last cup :(

This one is so yummy and perfect. The orange and almond really shine through, and the white tea lends a sweetness to the cup.

If RiverTea ever re-opens, this is the first one I’d get.

Goodbye, Toronto Nights.

Had this one yesterday. Nice standard tea…not bitter or astringent. Not as strong as my go-to Twinings Irish Breakfast, but I didn’t want that. Sometimes, you just want a nice smooth cup.

Maybe if I think of this as more of a light chai, that will help me rationalize this tea. It just does not invoke Christmas cookie.

It tastes like a nice light chai with some orange and ginger. It’s good…I like it, as I do like chai, orange, and ginger. It’s not a really bold chai flavor…while I do like bold chai teas, sometimes you want something nice and light.

Only a very little left after this cup…sad to be running out of this one because it is really good. A nice clean cup with the taste of orange. Wish I had gotten more while they were open.

Still feeling yucky, so I wanted another smooth tea. This one, I haven’t had it in a while. Nice and smooth, tasting of cinnamon, almond, apple…like an apple-y dessert. Very nice!

Decided to have this blend for my first cup of the day. My throat is feeling like scratchy sandpaper, and I don’t know if it is allergies or a cold. However, this tea is nice and mild, and soothing on my throat. I always enjoy drinking it.
