I feel like I used to enjoy this tea a lot more – as evidenced by my sliding rating. It’s like every time I drink it, I take off 10 points. I don’t know if I’ve just stopped enjoying green teas as much, or if it’s this one specifically, but I’m just not loving this one right now.

Wow! This one really surprised me this morning, and it fully did what I describe as my “90s” for tea ratings – stopped me in my tracks and made me sit down and just enjoy the cup of tea. This is why I enjoy doing a traveling teabox, not just to learn about different teas specifically, but also to learn – or pay attention to – different tea companies. Once I looked this tea up, it doesn’t look very readily available here in the US, but I’m quite sure I saw this in many shops in my travels in Canada and didn’t even think about buying it – lots of wooden box and special edition tins that read as tourist traps to me. I’ll be taking a second look at them the next time I travel up north!

What a delightful cup of tea. Not as strong as I generally like, but very pleasing. The “cream” element does make for delightful mouthfeel, without adding milk. And the flavor was light and enjoyable and not in the least bit bitter or harsh.

I would leap at the chance to buy this if I saw it in a store!

I feel like I should have liked this tea more than I did. Every word I would use to describe it is how I describe my favorite breakfast teas. And yet…. I don’t know, something just didn’t work for me with this tea. It was enjoyable, but it didn’t blow me away.

I let this brew like my favorites, strong, dark, and slightly bitter. Very pleasing for a tea to wake me up and get my day going.

I generally love Sri Lankan teas, and I didn’t dislike this one. It was a “no frills” kind of tea. It was okay, but I have enough tea that I do like more, that this one I probably won’t restock.

This was an ok breakfast blend. I enjoyed but not as much as I expected to.

I really enjoyed this tea and was not expecting to – I like a super black tea usually and this brewed to a very light color in the cup. But the flavor was like a warm hug. Very pleased!

This is a semi-regular breakfast tea for me. It’s a little on the lighter side, not as robust as some of my other choices, but good for a slow. leisurely wake up.

Earl Grey teas are often my favorites, but I’m surprised that I like this blend better than Palais des Thes traditional earl grey. This one was absolutely delightful and really made my day better just by sipping it. I will be looking for again!
