22 Tasting Notes
I happen to enjoy the rosey quality of this tea. It’s a berry-rose blend for me, suitable to drink plain either hot or cold. I can’t speak much for its benefits as I’ve only just started drinking it, but I think I’ll take a cup per day for a while as an experiment and see how it works!
Spicy, kicky chai. Not bad for a bagged chai; I think this is one of the better Tazo teas because the spices allow it to be delicious in many circumstances. Had this tonight, at work, with a splash of milk and a packet of Splenda. Can’t complain. I like the pepper in this blend, quite a bit.
Malty, strong, kick-your-butt tea that is best taken, in my opinion, with milk and a little sugar. My favourite wake me up tea. This is a robust black. Say whatever you like about crappy bagged tea, but I can’t beat this for convenience. I love this stuff; another tea my mother drank often and raised me on. Always in my house.
Frankly I only drink this for medicinal purposes, not taste. It’s fine; it’s a chamomile herbal tea that tastes like bagged chamomile tea does, you know? But the Valerian in this really does help me when I get my bouts of insomnia, so I keep it on hand for when sleeplessness rears its ugly head. I brew this quite strong, drink hot.
