726 Tasting Notes
This is honestly the most perfect and wonderful jasmine tea I’ve ever had. And this cuppa seems to be the best I’ve ever made!
Just so wonderfully smooth and the flavour isn’t too strong. And it resteeps like a boss. Oh just perfection in a cup <3

Had some of this tea this morning!
So this morning was my final for HRT 382. This class and 383 go hand in hand bc we work at the restaurant on campus. 382 is the whole management planning bit, and 383 we put those plans into action into the restaurant. My professor said that we worked so closely with our teams this quarter, we need a day to chill and get to know our other classmates because we need to become a team and all that good stuff. So today, instead of a final like it said on our syllabus, we had a potluck and got to know everyone!
We just took some extra equipment we had in the restaurant and used that for coffee and hot water and teabags. They had this and chamomile and I really wasn’t feeling chamomile this morning.
I had this tea with a bit of honey and milk! Just like how I’d like my tea at home because I go to the College of Hospitality Management and we had legit tablecloths and nice plasticware and dude the spread for this potluck was over the top.

But yeah, this tea was good! It definitely wasn’t as strong as some other chai’s I’ve had, but it’s decent for a bagged tea. Good cinnamon flavour, and the honey definitely helped to tone it down a bit
Taken from the Teeny Tiny TTB!
I’m so excited bc my roommate made me take her rice out and stashed behind her rice, I FOUND MY TEA SCALE AND A BAG OF TEAS FROM ROUND TWO OF THE TTTTB AND I WAS SO EXCITED AHHHHH
I figured I’d try this tea. I heard about osmanthus before, but I’ve never actually had it. it’s interesting? I don’t think it’d be a flavour I’d really seek out though. I taste a slight butteriness to it. Osmanthus is just… so strange?? I’ll drink the rest of it, but I don’t think I’ll really reach for this tea in the future.

Had this earlier in the week! Great tea. A nice mix of chocolate and peppermint :) Reminded me a bit of the Jack Frost blend from Adagio (Cara McGee), but this was a bit more robust with the chocolate, and less cream.
Great tea! But sad that I kinda left it in my timolino for so long and now it smells like this tea :(
I haven’t had this tea in so long oh my gosh
Someone posted on the discussion board about their favourite melon white tea, and then I started thinking about my Honeydew Tea and well… now I’m drinking it :)
Also, I just got a thing in the mail. I got my friend and her mom into Disneyland (keep in mind, she was one of my best friends in high school and I haven’t seen her in about 2.5 years!!), and I opened the envelope and they got me a gift card. It really wasn’t necessary, but they’re so lovely and I love them so much! I’ll probably surprise them with cookies the next time I see them :)
Backlog.
I drank this about a week and a half ago bc I was sick and dying and I couldn’t move out of bed and I wanted a tea just to make myself feel better and this one smelled healthy and I tasted it and it was quite possibly the most foul tea I’ve ever tasted I hate it so much I drank two sips and threw it down the drain it was gross.
Love this tea tons bc it smells just like a sweet, just baked cake dry!
I hate how with rooibos, it always tastes fab dry, but once you actually steep it, a lot of the flavour goes away :(
Maybe I’ve just been brewing it wrong, I don’t know! But the woodsy rooibos definitely kicks in and takes over the sweet cakey smell that I got before steeping.
Thank you tons to QueenOfTarts for sending it my way! Enjoying my last cuppa :)
Needed some sort of caffeine-free fix tonight, and none of my sweet rooibos teas sounded appealing, so a spicy chai it is!
Ahh this one is lovely! Taken from the Marco Polo TTB
Great balance of spice, and a touch of sugar to pull the flavours out brought it all together :) The liquor is such a deep red, and it’s nice! Definitely doesn’t have that full black chai flavour, but this rooibos chai seems to do the trick. Hmm.. I don’t seem to taste the vanilla though. Just the rooibos and chai.
I had this tea this morning!
So.
Backstory.
I had the wonderful opportunity to meet with the GM of a hotel since she’s alumni from my college, and the meeting was this morning. Last week when she spoke at the event, she mentioned she was a Tea Master and I was all a;lsdkjfhsdflkjadf OKAY.
So today, when we met up one-on-one, I saw her tea tray on the table across her desk. I mentioned to her that I loved how she had a tea tray in her office, and she gestured over to the table behind her desk where she had all her teas displayed! I was amazed. And she had all her mugs displayed underneath as well.
So we started our meeting, and then she paused and offered me tea, and I’m all oh gosh, yes please! And I mentioned to her earlier that I really enjoyed Jasmine green tea, and she pulled this tea out.
Turns out that she has a friend who is working on a project in Shanghai right now, and when her friend visited, she brought this tea over, and this was the tea that I enjoyed during our meeting this morning :)
NOW ONTO THE TEA.
It was really good! The water that I was given was luckily not too hot. This was one of the lighter jasmines that I’ve had. Very smooth, and not bitter at all! Light and floral, and just a wonderful delicate tasting tea :)
Definitely on my must purchase list next time I happen to stumble upon it here in the States!
From round one of the Teeny Tiny Tea Box!
I remember loving this tea so much the first time I drank it, but sadly today, I let it steep for too long!
Roommate stepped on a piece of glass sooooo yeah. I kinda had other pressing matters to tend to!
But it’s still a lovely tea. I won’t let it slip my mind when I steep it again!
