343 Tasting Notes
Ok, I figured out the trick with this one. You really need to overleaf it. You think you’re adding too much? You are totally not. Once I added 4 heaping teaspoons in my 16oz mug (seriously heaping, I likely used 5 tsp really), I now don’t need to add sweetener. I can really taste the peach, it isn’t bitter and I get a very smooth, almost thick, mouth-feel. Basically everything I love about whites. Now if only I could have a variable temperature kettle at work… cause then I’d actually sip this one down at a much faster rate.
Preparation
Got a bag from one of my husband’s coworkers who thought I’d like it. She was right. Nice smooth green base, on the sweet side without added sweetener. Only thing with ROT is you need to use an actual tea cup to get the right flavor. Definitely, not bad, but not sure it’s something I’d pick up.
Sipdown!
You shouldn’t be surprised, it’s an oolong and a green one at that. I brought this to work (sounds familiar) and plowed through the 26 grams my husband bought me in Montreal and the 10 or so grams that came in the kosher tea set my brother got me for Hanukkah this past year. I found that this generally lasts 3 steeps and the leaves get so big! Also, peachy rings.
I’d rebuy but not right away.
Sipdown-ish!
I’m getting closer to sipping down all the teas I bought during my early loose leaf tea drinking days of summer 2013 – my has a year gone by already?!
Anyway, I had tucked this into the back of my cupboard after I bought it… not sure why, but lately, this has been my go-to. Technically sipping down this 50 gram bag doesn’t mean the end of lime gelato in my cupboard, as I have two adorably cute tins, each containing a mere 10.3g/0.36oz that I bought when the Easter set was 50% off. I’ll wait for a bit before drinking those (but I am going to remove it from my e-cupboard just cause 20 grams is pretty pitiful, especially for a blend that requires 2 tsp per each 8oz cup). At least it lasts 2 steeps if you’re careful.
I’d definitely buy it again, but not for awhile. And as an afternoon/early evening drink, I think I’d prefer switching off between this and the Della Terra chiffons so I can get some rooibos in my system.

Sipdown!
I managed to sip through 2oz of this rather quickly because I took it to work and oolongs are the perfect tea for work since I can kind of forget about them and run to a meeting and they don’t tend to get ruined. Though this darker oolong can get a little bitter and astringent like black tea, but there is no way I can do black tea at work since I run around so much.
Anyway, this is a nice oolong tea. Dessert-like, but only with a bit of sweetener added. To be honest, what would make this more awesome, would be using a greener oolong. Because darker oolongs can still irritate my acid reflux and greens less so (especially if I accidentally let them steep too long).
Not sure I’d repurchase right away, but it was nice to have.
This was received in a swap, but I don’t remember from who, sorry!
So, this is supposed to be orange, right? Because unless my swap buddy accidentally sent lime or lemon chiffon instead of this, I’m only getting lime/lemon, no orange. So I think I might have gotten one of the chiffons and not the orange & cream. Not that I’m complaining or anything. Since the chiffons are some of my favorites, but I am not getting orange at all…. hmmm… mysterious mysteries.
Preparation
The sipping all the tisanes continues. I have to say that I much prefer Angel Falls Mist to this one, it’s almost too tart (and I like tart things). I’m not getting any mango, but I am getting notes of various berries. It almost reminds me of Teavana’s Sevenberry Sangria, except it lacks the rooibos (that one also benefited from sweetener). This isn’t bad, but an excellent tisane is one that I don’t have to sweeten, and this one doesn’t quite hit the mark.
Preparation
I can’t believe I haven’t logged this! It’s limey and creamy, but somehow different from the chiffons from Della Terra. It’s slightly more citrus, less cream but still really pleasant. Also, although there isn’t much green tea in the blend, it’s enough to make me feel like I’m getting some benefits without dealing with a grassy cup. It pretty much tastes like candy.
(I very mildly sweeten this)

Great Canadian Traveling Tea Box – Round 3
This is awesome, but what was less awesome was spilling hot tea all over myself as I was reading through tasting notes on Steepster. Thankfully 1) It wasn’t quite boiling by the time this happened and 2) It was only about a 1/4 of my cup till I realized the hot liquid was coming from the mug… anywho. Apparently, my brain is a little foggy. Oh and there’s a number 3! It turns out to be delicious and I will be keeping the rest of it.
I find that white tea tends to be very light and fluffy, so the grams may not be excessive!
