I’m confused. Did I buy a packet of sugar and cinnamon, or tea?
Honestly, this is a strong one, almost too strong. Wowsa.
I had to add milk just to tone things down. Sadly, the tea flavour was weak while the spices weren’t. Maybe I’ll grab an in store cuppa one day to see if that tastes any better.
I think it was just a bad cup. I’m hesitant to buy another sample…

This is what I’m wondering about too. I’m going to have to pick some up to see… well, taste… for myself.
@Evol I don’t think I tried it the first time around, besides the in store samples. Maybe? I’m sure Sil could tell us :P
No need after all, I tried it in store and it was MUCH better. Also asked the girl helping me and she said there really shouldn’t have been that much sugar in my sample; must have got a bad batch!
I love this one…the milk makes it more eggy like french toast. I usually get a lemon custard note as well. BUT, I have not bought any this season since i returned. I had planned on getting a small amount to try again. I did get a cup to go and it seemed ok, but I find that teas to go aren’t always good or prepared how I like them, even if it is one I like.
@Plunkybug, I think when I got my sample the tin was almost empty so got all the bits from the bottom. I might grab another sample, to try again… like yourself. I’ve noticed the same about in store vs homebrewed
Yeah, def give it another go. It was a go to for me last winter. But I have to have it with milk…same as 52teas french toast one. It makes it more eggy and custardy. It does have coconut sugar in it, but I add a little more still. But that is personal. And as I have been reducing sugar in tea, I may no longer need it. Also, try as a latte.
Wow. Too bad. Have they changed the formula from when it was initially put out?

@Fjellrev, let me know what you find!! I neeeeeed to know haha
yep, I don’t recall Sil mentioning anything about this. Perhaps we need to quiz her on this.
