Another raw from Liquid Proust’s intro set. This one doesn’t stand out to me as particularly fantastic, but it’s really a consistent and nice flavor. It’s definitely solid, with a “green-leaning” taste (is that a thing) but has good undertones as well. I’d describe the mouthfeel as medium thick and the cha qi as pretty powerful and enjoyable. The tea lasts a long time as well, the only issue being that it gets a bit boring after the 7th or 8th brew. Overall, positive rating from me!!

Hi there! I’m Drew from northeastern USA. At 21 years old, I’m slowly aging into a decent raw hu’man. Since first getting into “true tea” in 2016, it has become a staple of my life. I suffer from anxiety and panic attacks, but when I drink tea the frequency of both drops dramatically. Tea is a wonderful way to meditate, enjoy the energies of the world, and to become present in the moment.

Generally, I think I’ll try to stick to these rating parameters:

91-100: Absolutely incredible. Best taste and energy from any tea I’ve had. (NB: I feel like I haven’t had enough teas to put any I have had into this category quite yet)

81-90: I need to buy this stuff in bulk, because I’m in love with it. The flavor/energy combination is close to perfect.

71-80: I really enjoyed it, but something was lacking.

61-70: Not bad, but not mind-blowing either. I may not drink this specific varietal again, but I likely want to try other kinds of this tea.

51-60: Meh… I’ve given this tea multiple chances, and it’s not for me. Not offensively bad, and I recognize that some people may like it, but it wasn’t for me.

0-50: Yikes. You should consider not buying this.
